I "get" to install this this weekend, as my 20 year old OEM with 276K on the clock just developed a 3 inch crack at the top... :flush:

The "TYC" brand radiator, that TYC does not make. Funny, order from TYC on Amazon, comes in a Koyorad box, has Koyorad lable, and costs $100 less than Koyorad... Go figure.

Every 80 series owner needs to do this.
On my shortlist. Which is getting longer.

Between two kids in college and a 100 year old house, and everything else, it's a pretty long list.

Yanked the stepboards, waiting for the mailman to deliver my mudflaps. Also got a quote on an OME Heavy, ARB bullbar and 35'' Iroks.

Access from inside?
No from the outside! I have a platform in the rear so inside access wouldn't work. I just a little more space to put odds and ends. The best mod so far as been my cooler holder on the back bumper. I feel like I always need more room as the kids grow! :)

I toped off the windshield washer reservoir, checked the oil and coolant level and filed her up. 9.4 mi/gal city driving.
Then took some pictures of a backup camera screen so somebody can come up with a holder for it.

The weekend's not done yet but we road tripped from Virginia to Folly Beach SC camping along the way. Stopped through Uwharrie in NC and then rolled through the swamps of coastal SC. By the time we get home it will have been close to 900 miles in the 80. This is my first time road tripping and camping with the truck and I gotta say - it seems like it was purpose-built for exactly that.

Rotated the tires on the GX470 and Land Cruiser, and wire brushed, and spraypainted the axle hubs on the Cruiser as they were looking a bit tired with wheels that have no centercaps. Looks good as new again!

I washed off all the Death Valley Dust and bug splat I gathered from last week's road trip. almost 1,000 miles RT up to Mono Lake and back, with tons of dirt road side trips and epic trails. Peep my instagram feed to see pretty much anything i do in my 80, including using the awning for shade at my mom's garage sale!

Adios!

Brakes...first time doing them. Not bad. It helps to have all the right tools.

This is as close to off-roading as I'm getting this weekend. Camry Hybrid handled it like a champ! Haha

That's like kissing your sister and saying that's the closest to sex as you got :flipoff2:

Clearly you've never seen pics of my sister...
