I changed my brake-light bulb on Saturday. That was after being told by trail buddies, a couple of months ago, that it was going in and out. And then being told by my wife, and brother-in-law, on Thanksgiving weekend that it was out. But, when the local PD went out of his way to pull me over on Friday and tell me that it was out, it was time to fix it.

Went hunting. 300 miles driven durning the trip and averaged 13.1mpg. Nice 11pt whitetail weighed 175lbs about 4.5 years old.

I was asked a couple of times, so....Gun on the back of the truck is my new Sig Sauer 716R chambered in .308. Got a Leupold VX-R 3-9 x 40mm on it. Pretty sweet setup. I had it touching shots at 200yards and I haven't even really dialed it in yet.

Gun on the deer is Ruger American Rifle 30-06 with Leupold VX-3. Great deer rifle and it is a tack driver at 150 yards. Never had to shoot it any farther than that on the ranch, so not sure how accurate it is at longer distances, but I've never had to shoot twice and dropped that dude at about 110 yards. Never took another step....he crumpled and expired immediately.

Yeah I finally got to replacing my LH reverse light on Sunday that has been out since I bought it a year ago as I almost backed into my gf's car.:hillbilly:
Other than that I finally added the 5mm spacer to the front to get her level, changed the oil, finally fabricated washer bottle relocation brackets, fixed the stock spare tire carrier.

Second week of PA deer. Roads turned to skating rink post saturday rain and refreeze.

Maxxis Big Horn blow on ice. Time to stud them.

I just bought a 50" curved CREE LED bar for the front, a 42" Epistar LED bar for the rear and a Warn ZEON 12 winch.... I guess I got carried away spending holiday money on the family... my bad.... Hope my bonus is a good one

They are philips LED driving lights.

There is a write-up from Wildyoats who first installed them. You need to cut the turn signals out and make the opening larger to fit the LED, but they look killer.

Cool. I will check it out.

So I had a chuckle on Monday reading this to a co-worker cruiser nut.... Got home Monday night to a text from him that my tail light was out..... I didn't wait to be told by the PD and changed it out tonight!

Just bought the truck and the first thing I did to it was build some storage in the back. Wanted something I could put an inflatable mattress on and use for long road trips, emergencies, overnighters on a closed highway, etc. Went down to the hardware store and got a little wood, spent 2 hours with a hand saw and phillips screwdriver, and viola had a basic setup that holds my AR-15, spare LC parts, emergency/med kit and food, air mattress with sleeping bag and blankets. Went on a road trip from Laramie, WY to Minnesota and back for a funeral and ended up sleeping in it on 2 of the nights, temps down to single digits and was just fine. I'm pretty satisfied with the results since it cost less than $100 to build, but eventually I'll have to build one with drawers. 20141125_144633.jpg 20141125_144726.jpg
