Leave the stinger on man I think it looks sik!!! Thats a great looking bumper.

Sorry bud, too late! Put in a 2" flat tube last night. I think I like it. The raised mounts for the lightbar should tie it all together nicely. At least that's the plan!

Wow! That's awesome X2!

replaced a 1yr,10month old WALKER y-pipe / converter assembly [snapped o2 sensor stud on precat sensor], luckily I still had receipt and advance warranted it, wish they would have refunded me[ I tried that ] then I could have picked up the magnaflow version, which wasn't available when I bought this 2 yrs ago :-( but this one I at least painted with the VHT high temp ceramic coating paint

oh well, its all back together with two new o2 sensors and now [this coming weekend] I have to finish the AC aluminum line [firewall to fendewell] then put the valvecover back on[new gasket] along with the new cap/rotor/plugs/plugwires and then prob off to the bodyshop for a rocker panel and other stuff.

the valve cover was horrible after 18 yrs of corrosion, and the top of the air cleaner was rusty as well, so I did both in the VHT wrinkle finish......

Just finished up a two week brake job (rotors and pads). First off I had trouble getting the DS rear rotor off even when parking brake was disconnected. One of the "assist" holes was over the parking brake adjustment hole so it pushed only on one side resulting in a bind. After destroying the brake shoes and mangling one of the spring pins I managed to get it off. This was the rotor that was also causing my pulse when braking. Pad was down to metal and the rotor was toast. It was a git of a struggle to get the front 100 series pads to fit. I actually had to drain a bit of fluid so it wouldn't spill out when I was pushing the calipers in. My future "note to self" is to not touch a rotor after a test drive just to see how hot it is. Going to leave a mark.

Thanks to Beno and Shawn from Duiser for getting my parts I needed in a couple of days to finish the job. Sadly I will be out of town for three weeks due to work so no driving the cruiser for awhile.

I got my valve cover gasket kit and got the job done but broke my air intake tube. That gives me more thingso to do next weekend.

Did some fun trails in the desert outside of the Phoenix area..saw a few tarantulas! While driving I thought of a short list of things that I consider to be in the "money well spent" column:

1. Decent tires - I have the 255/85/16 variety and love them
2. Lokka auto locker - I feel like I'm cheating with that thing
3. Auto deflators - a little spendy for 4 little valved tubes but makes airing down a "breeze" , which in turn increases traction and makes the ride so much more pleasant
4. Good air compressor to air back up again - mine was a thoughtful gift from family

I finally got rid of the factory OEM racks and the 3 runners. Glad I did it since rust was forming on the base of both the front racks. I dropped the headliner, sunroof assembly and drilled out the nut serts then welded the holes shut. Rust disaster averted :flipoff2:

Replaced ac compressor and finally relocated the damn dryer ( waiting on @UnderDawg for my new bumper) sum cleaning and still working on my control arms for the coming 3 link :3 very productive weekend .\m/
