Camped and rode with musthave and four of his friends (one brought the wife and kids) from central Florida, up in N.E. Georgia. To keep it balanced we had five people from Georgia too. People rolled in from early Thursday morning through Saturday afternoon, and left Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon. Over the course of the weekend we had five 80s (that's a LOT around here), a 62, a 4runner, and a JKU. Made several new friends, and can't wait until our next trip!

That looks sik!! Cant wait to see it with my gear on it too!! Gonna look tough with the hood plates and rack!!

Thanks Dawg! I noticed I was drawing attention on the commute to NYC this morning.

On side note: every morning I park in a open air lot near my ferry in Jersey City. The lot fills up by about 8:15-8:30 most mornings and if you arrive later you won't get a spot. Whenever I drive my 80..which is most days, they let me in even when full. They then even go and move other cars out into the valet section so I can get a spot...hows that for some 80 love.

Man I would've gone if I could have brought the wife and kids

One trail story: I was leading the group at this particular moment, and there were a couple of pieces of sawed tree limb laying on the trail in front of me. I had to drive over them, but wasn't that concerned since they were only about 5" in diameter, and about 3' long. As my passenger front tire rolled over one piece, I heard a thump, like the limb popped up and hit the underside of my truck. But then, as I drove on it sounded like I was dragging the limb. I stopped, but when I tried to put the truck in park, the gear selector wouldn't move. So, there I was stuck in gear with my foot on the brake while a buddy sawed through the limb that was wedged between my frame and the "we're not exactly sure what", that kept me from shifting.

bmac1996acc, I didn't know Scott was bringing his family (they came Saturday afternoon), and I hope I didn't give you the impression that you couldn't bring your family.

Things changed for Scott due to wife, kids, and work schedule change. Sounds like we need to plan the next one and have wife and kids come along. My kids were jealous for sure. Though my wife looked at my water crossing videos and she said it made her queasy. I laughed...

Came up on him hard in the dark :D probably though it was one of his buddies by the way he took off and was driving. Turn into the BP compound after a couple of miles. I went straight:grinpimp:

No worries. I just didn't want to be the guy to ruin the fellas only kind of trip.

North Georgia Land Cruisers fall trails.

Might as well post another video. This is "warwoman" in Clayton GA. No camera does justice to the steepness of trails it seems. Kinda cool at 4:55 or so, breaking it down.

White on top, sans panties in the middle and black along the bottom. The white and panties colors got two coats. With the black I put on 6. I was trying to use up the whole gallon, but got tired of rolling it on so I quit. I had about 1/3 gallon left.
