Naches is my favorite area. I ran funny rocks the first time without any armor and just a 2.5" lift. Stick to the far right side line, you'll be fine.

I took my family camping this weekend for three days just north of there near Blewett Pass. Ran the Tronsen Ridge trail, and Hole In The Rock trail.

We then went over to the Cle Elum Valley and wheeled the Fortune Creek and Van Epps trails. The wife and kid had a blast. Pictures to follow...

Polar Bear,
We were planning on doing what you did but in reverse. We camped up at Lake Gallaher Saturday night and were going to do hole in the rock and Crystal Ridge but woke up a little late. We probably just missed crossing paths as we went back down the Fortune Creek trail a little after noon on Sunday (if you headed to the lake on Sunday)...Had to make it back into town to replenish some Owens jerky and landjaeger before heading home!

That's too funny. We rolled through Gallagher Head Lake on the fortune creek trail around 5pm on Friday, saw people camping on the shore (likely you lol) and went in search of a more isolated camp site.

We arrived at the lake just as a massive hatch of gnats occurred. The swarms were so thick it was like driving through a glass of milk for a couple hundred yards. Never seen anything quite like it outside of the Mosquito Belt.

Fortune creek trail was beautiful, amazing scenery though.

Yeah, the gnats were something but at least they weren't mosquitos. And you are right, Fortune Creek is very scenic; one of my favorite wheeling destinations even if it is an easy trail.

I think you're right, I remember him calling it a 30-30. It's a very sturdy rack, that's for sure.

All I need now is a winch lockers in front and back, and a rack for on top. Then ill redue the suspension so its not so hard. Then a power increase with a ls2 and a 4L80e trans and ill be done with the black hole.

Put new depo lights in and wiring harness. Still need to upgrade my battery cables.

New OEM calipers, 100series pads and a coat of wax.

Finally rebuild the power steering pump. Hopefully the pesky leak has been cured.

Removed my ARB to sell it tomorrow morning... and let the custom bumper project begin :) Also, cleaned out the airconditioning system and now the process begins of replacing all the O-rings and anything involving my leak (did some research already so I know where to head).

Considering building custom front and rear bumpers with a buddy and some sliders as well. Why pay for it when you can build it yourself with a few friends and a couple weeks.
