What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend? (92 Viewers)

Did some cleaning on the white 93 and changed the diff oil (80w-90 synthetic), oil filter and oil change (15w-50 synthetic). Had to go to the dealership to get a 10x pack of those washers for those drain plugs. How you know your dealing with a neglected cruiser is you see how boogered up the bolts are when your done cleaning it up.

How long did it take you to pump the diff oil using that pump?

about 15 minute. I measured the 2.8 before hand per FSM. Got tired from scrubbing the roof to get to the front diff. Will jack her up this week and get it done. That old diff fluid smelled awful and was bronze colored. Then off to my 1994 to repeat.

Oh snap @NLXTACY ... it's all downhill from here😜

They look good! Now I'm trying to picture your cruiser without flares haha....I have none.
They are on F5 Stealth Custom Series Wheels 16 x 8.5. They will stick out. They have great wet traction, decent in Mud (As you can see mus is not an issue) most of all they ride nice and very little noise compared to the KO2's i had on before. Great Rock Traction.

Yeah I have F5's as well. I like the combination on your 80.

Getting ready for a snow run Saturday. Oil change, parking brake adjust, misc wiring cleanup and....rock light install.

Nothing trashes a vehicle faster than plowing snow with it. Look it over VERY carefully.

CDAN, I could not agree more. This truck had 1000 mi on it in 17 years. PO plowed a driveway about 1/8mi long. Never hitting the road/salt. The problem is the many oil leaks and massive amount of differed pm. This thing is a bit of a basket case but no rust. It will keep me busy for a couple of years.

Took the family out to the desert for Thanksgiving week for some solitude and playing in the dirt, dust and rocks. Doing Thanksgiving dinner on the trail out of the back of the wagon was great! Kids will remember that for sure. This trip was also the first big break in and test for the Dobinsons MRR shocks and I feel like they handled the washboard and beat up roads pretty well. I think I’m finally dialed with my suspension setup and have no complaints and man really just amazed how this heavy 80 handles all driving conditions.

First time to Moab last week. What an amazing place! Drove from San Diego with an FJ, Taco, Xterra, two Gladiators. A bashed muffler and broken distributor assembly is what it cost me, but thankfully made it home in one piece.

Finished the Slee DIY adjustable front panhard:

And welded in the eimkeith panhard. Fits like a glove:

Welded up:

BTW: If you have welding available to you, I recommend the EIMKeith bracket over the Delta Panhard bracket. It's only $105 shipped compared to $265 plus shipping from Delta, shipped fast, and is adjustable if your load or lift changes. Additionally, as you can see, it's a beautiful, beautiful piece of metal that slots into the exact shape of the OEM panhard bracket.
