Bent my gutters on both sides and scratched the hell out them when the Thule bars with my RTT on reached out and grabbed a tree branch that came out of nowhere....

Been there done that. Then I was shocked no one had a set of Yakima 1a towers in all of Moab. Very surprising with all the stinky VW hippie buses in that town. No offense of course. :).

Went to the desert for some adventure last week. Never been to the Mojave before - pretty amazing. Great trip.

it's an adjustable drop plate for launching the boat. ... so much easier to drive forward with the boat on the front tow hitch.

Looks like a good point for a snatch block to triple line winch!

Got some 315 Maxxis Bighorn MT- 762s on it.

Aaaaannndddddd tore my PS rear mud flap off the day before. Luckily someone on ebay had a set I was able to pick up for 30 bucks.

Went to Squamish on Sunday for some meetings then swapped in my Depo housings with Phillips bulbs! Check out the difference in H4's as they are the same wattage but the right is Osram and the left is Phillips!

Interesting, I'm running osram also but that's a nice difference. What osram bulbs were you running? I have the 80/85w off road I believe.

They were the standard I guess u can call them 60/55w

I traveled some dark roads last night in heavy rain and I am very impressed compared to stock!

I got my bulbs from Powerbulbs.com

Had a little time so I installed new bushings for the front sway bar and some new wiper blades. Then I sanded down the center section of my rear bumper where it had some light rust as well as my hitch. I then painted with some Rustoleum Hammered black spray paint which really came out looking good.

I bought a pair of projector headlights for our 80 as the standard head lights are as useful as a chocolate fire guard ...
anyway ... I fitted them today ..
before ..

After ...
What housing and projector did you go with?

Started front axle service on my 92. Snow came so used the 93 to check on family members and deliver milk sandwiches.

What type of roof-rack is that, and how loud is it on the road?

Looks like a Baja Rack.

Indeed...

I had a Baja Rack loaned to me for a month just to try it if I'll like it. I found it not as loud as mentioned by others. It was tolerable. Then I decided to buy an ARB full rack just because I saw one on CL for $500 and grabbed it.

Baja full size rack. http://www.bajarack.com/toyota-lc-large .

It's a great rack. Highly recommend it. Road noise is not bad at all..... Unless the sun roof is open.... Then above 45 is starts getting pretty noisy. Otherwise really can't even tell it's up there.

I was looking at an LED light bar to throw between the roof line and the rack to mitigate the noise. Not sure if it would work well or not though.

I've got the full length flat rack. Very quiet indeed.

Today was my weekend so I finally finished the shelf that now holds a disassembled engine, blown HG, that came with my LX. Plan is to clean up the oil pans, valve cover and any other swappable parts for when I change out the gaskets on my other engine.
