Had to do the same thing to one of the shocks on my 80 when it was about 10 degrees out. Super fun.
I removed all the crappy looking woodgrain from the dash/doors/console yesterday. Massive improvement but now I really notice how nasty the carpet is. Probably just order more parts tomorrow for replacing something else lol....
Definitely is always a blast! I ran Elephant Hill and Top of the World this year, had to drive back on Saturday, so no trail run that day.
Elephant Hill has some fun wheeling, but it also has incredible hiking trails ( the Joint Trail) through slot canyons and caves. My wife's favorite part of the whole week.
Really, every trail I have been on in Moab has been amazing. Wish it was closer to us!
The search continues for Land Cruisers in Spain. Headed towards Barcelona now, hoping to look at a right hand drive 80 series. Had some good luck with to Cruisers the other day waiting to see if they will except my offer. They did treat me to an incredible meal though.
Fan clutch for the second time in a couple years. Modded my black clutch with 20k, but it still wasn't doing the job, so I sprung on the blue clutch and replaced my broken water pump stud. (FYI- ran with only three studs for a couple years with no ill effects )

Stevenmichael,
“I really like that bumper and warn . Can you add the 2 things and use the oem shocks and springs ?”
Good question but i am not sure of the answer. The bumper and winch weigh a lot. My friend that built the cruiser i have already added the OME lift.
I imagine you could try it but just be prepared to add heavier springs if the new load up front is too much for the stock ones. Easy change if need be.
Other guys in the know may give better feedback with experience backing it.
Visiting. I could live here though, especially about 40 mikes or more west of the city. Or on a hillside north of the city overlooking the Med. Searching for cruisers. Picked up a Prado this evening, can’t import it yet but it’s worth it to store for a few years. Found storage outside of Barcelona for about $30 a month can’t beat that. A nice RHD 80 from England but it was too rusty.
