Wasn't in the office 15mins when some came by to tell me I had a soft tire. It was completely flat 10 mins later.

I can't remember the last time I had a flat tire. It must have been more than 30 years ago. Found part of a builders tool kit sticking out of it.

My buddy ran his 2010 Dodge 2500 dry last night. Gave it 10 gallons of Diesel and it wouldn't "auto prime" like it was supposed to. Tried a few more things today with no luck so I towed him a few blocks to the Dodge dealership.

Learned a lesson about helping a stranded driver when a Mitsubishi Eclipse stuffed itself into a snowbank and I stopped to offer a tow. I let the driver slither under his vehicle (in 2 feet of snow) to fasten the Bubba Rope, I hooked the other end to my 4x4Labs rear bumper and proceeded to give it a couple of good old yanks, to no avail. He wanted me to try again but I thought I'd better have another look first, only to find his rear passenger side wheel pointing in the wrong direction, I think another tug would have torn it right off. I didn't have the heart to take a photo!

From here on out, I'll make or verify all of the mounting connections myself!

Nope!

That's why you make THEM do it so it is THEIR liability as to where to hook it. I've seen bumpers ripped off and axles yanked out because of how people hooked to them. Let THEM take the liability, not YOU. You are trying to help and be a Good Samaritan.

Just don't back right up to them and floor it so you hit the end of the strap at 30 MPH. That's just stupid.

I make them hook up then I tell them they are doing it wrong. If they won’t listen then I leave.

If she’s hot I do it and be the hero. Duh.

Finally got around to welding on some light tabs to the bumpers. These lights have been sitting in the garage for forever; 22” combo lightbar for the front and 4” floods for the rear. Still need to figure out where to mount the switches on the dash :hmm:.

There are a few write ups on this site of how to cut and what to do. Pm me and I can send you pics but I just followed what others have done.

Installed some goodies from Mr T...

New oil pressure sending unit.

New steering column seal.

And new exhaust hanger isolators, not pictured.

Then I added a MicTuning light bar to the front. Been happy with their smaller light bars on the roof, especially that I did not have to reseal them. No moisture has gotten in. Hopefully this new bar will be the same.

Pretty bright light for the money.

I have the Wildpeaks now for a couple weeks and love them! They are really quiet and I've already tested them in rain, snow and ice. Excellent traction and braking. They won't replace a snow tire but I am really happy with these. I have 285/75/16 so sure you would want to go bigger.
I run them as well and in the same size. They've been great for me in all conditions so far. Hope I get to bomb through another snow storm this season!
