Made it to Estes park. We no more than got everything unloaded and it started pouring rain. The last 45mins of the drive was a little sketchy and I about got side swiped by an RV
. I'm not looking forward to the drive out. Stock gearing and 315s is just terrible at this altitude. I planned on swapping eventually down the road, but it's probably going to happen much sooner with my yearly trips out here.

Drive it with the Power button on whenever climbing hills and also downshift when you need to. The 80 engine was built to run at high RPMs and it will not hurt to do so for long periods of time. Just keep it out of the red. They were originally fork-lift engines and ran at high RPMs all day long.
