I live in Santa Monica, in a building with underground parking. I knew height would be an issue, but threw caution to the wind and installed the lift anyway. Sunday night after installation, I pulled into my subterranean garage cautiously. I have about 3/8" clearance between overhead door and my factory roof rack.
Did I read something about the Prinsu rack actually being lower than the factory rack?
Gino coming in Clutch like a baller haha I like the prinsu. Funny enough I wouldn't have been relevant to this thread if I hadn't been googling what rack you had an hour before this! I want to swap racks but an Inti is too expensive...
Well that answers that question Once my insurance kicks over 1 of 3 things will happen,
1. I buy Mega60 and also keep the 80
2. I sell 80 and buy just Mega60
3. I keep 80, no mega 60 and pimp out 80 with remaining settlement from vendors
Who makes that? Might be ditching my rack for a lower profile one (Prinsu) or a bigger baja/safari rack (Inti)

Check with Jason. It wasn't crazy expensive like the INTIs. Very well built. And I customized it a bit with a solar panel slide out which I don't have mounted in this picture. I decided to have it be a bolt on feature after I told him I wanted it welded on. Haha.

60/62s are fine. I've had each. I felt both were lacking. I like my vehicles utilitarian but something about the 60 series just doesn't do it for me. To each their own.

Well that list is in order from best case scenario to worst case scenario. Personally I love the body styles of 60s and 62s. I think 80s look to bland. As far as performance, v8 makes a 60 not lacking. Mega60+trailer is gonna be north of $20k though
Perfect world I get enough settlement for 80 and 60...which is not out of the picture, just gotta figure out how much my medical insurance will try to shaft me for from auto insurance money in subrogation.

Just looking at your list of vehicles in your sig. Maybe stay away from 60's for a while? Although I suppose what looks on paper as unlucky might be considered lucky when you walk away.
I have both a 60 and an 80 and I love both of them. The logical side of the brain says sell one but every time I look at them I cant quite bring myself to do it. I agree the 60 looks better but my 80 is way more functional than my 60 with the 2f. If I stumbled upon a bunch of cash I would likely build out the 60 though, just something special about it that defies logic. Pimped out 80 is nothing to turn ones nose up at though if you end up at your "worst case scenario"
Took Ava on an Elk hunt, blew out a tire. Replaced four tires with brand new Toyo Open Country 215/75/16
Sucked in a lot of dust so went ahead with an oil change and replaced the air filter... baby needs a wash too.

Had problems keeping my iPad charged when I'd use GPS navigation apps on the trail so grabbed some of those 4.8A Blue Sea USB chargers. The one in the dash is tapped off the cig circuit and the one in the coin slot is always live. Also wired a couple more 12V sockets on each side of the shift console which are live as well. All this went to a newly added interior fuse block I installed under my seat.
Took the kids up the coast to watch the waves and found out I can hang a hammock off the Slee bumper. Totally works!
