Seriously, may be my favorite 80 but you gotta do something about the running boards! They stick out like a sore thumb! Or you could get some sliders like all the cool kids...

I agree. I wheeled my truck with my running boards for years. They looked like a wash board. I was lucky I didn't bend my rocker panel.

1shot1kill may not be so lucky if he doesn't get a set of sliders!

I have heard it is the most expensive body work you can have done on your car. Afterwards your doors never shut right again and water leaks in.

Thank you! I know....I put back those running boards for the Mrs. and the kids....I do need to paint them...soon...next project on the list, but my tundra is consuming me.....I should just get a pair of white knuckles for the LC like I have on the Tundra.

Yep. Those would work on your 80.

Your Tundra is pretty cool. But your 80 is cooler! Don't neglect the 80!
After waiting for 18 months the LC got new shoes...toyos 38, new shocks as the old ones had 150k on them...new front stabilizer shock and new bushings all around...after hitting the dunes this last week she was really wobbly....but she is all good now...she will forever be my first....

YEP! All lids will have a split door option (may make it the standard)

Here it is on a 100 lid. Guys with drawers will be able to open drawers and lids alternately as needed. Lids will open outwards for more "table" space.

This is what I've been looking for! If you build these with the split door, I'll be a customer.

The trails in the San Juans are free to run any time...see you up there....bring some LCP swag, you can be a vendor.

I have driven all the way from Texas to run the San Juans a few times now. Probably my favorite place to go. Beautiful place.

I would buy a split door setup for my 80 as well.

I've developed the habit of taking an off road break during lunch. They are starting to get on us about being in the office all day, so I am taking the full hour lunch, driving out into the woods, and taking a nice nap in a cool and shady glen.

I thought lunch breaks in Germany are from 12-2pm? Seemed like that when we were there.

 :)

well, went and got a local stereo shop to install a new stereo, since the factory head unit didn't play cd's or tapes any more, and all the speakers were blown ! so I got a Alpine Bluetooth receiver, 4 alpine speakers, and a 10" Rockford Fosgate powered sub ! it should sound nice ! picking the cruiser up at 5pm today ! could have gone higher end , but I don't listen to things too loud nor care about the "boom" ... mostly old rock and jazz, so it is enough ... I hope ;)

I wish I had that problem lol....nice!

Thanks. I am in the Joliet area.
How much lift do you have on the red machine? Also your bumpstop spacing please?

Installed this baby up, next to the rear heater switch, love that the cruiser has so many switch spacers.
my cell loves it and less clutter.
