Now I just sit in my driveway listening to the airport renta car shuttles talk to dispatch and each other at the Oakland, CA International Airport on the GMRS. Most of the conversations are centered around A-hole customers and what they are having for lunch.

So I am falling further down the rabbit hole! While I am in there… replacing oil cooler gaskets and the push rod cover gasket. Tedious, but patience is the key!

Test fitting custom long range fuel tank ...
Some minor adjustments but overall happy with result.
It will fit a little higher after installation.
Used stainless steel 304, not sure if I need skid plates or not will see after installation.

Replaced the oil pressure sender, suspecting it was weeping oil. The old one never indicated higher than the first line, the new one actually moves the needle . Part no. 83250-60011 from Japan.

Replaced the rear Dobinsons shocks with appropriately sized Bilstein 33-233970 which increased my uptravel about 3” for a total of 5”. So I’m removing the 3” bump stop extensions (left) and only need 1/2” extensions (right) for the factory bumps, which I made from some scrap aluminum block I had lying around.
