are you the only guy that makes these alum bumpers/gas tanks> Have you amde many?

Took a page out of @Bullzi “Bean” build thread and restored my fuel tank vapor lines, bulkhead connector and installed a charcoal canister with help from my buddy @DocHanson. My rig has had venting issues with fumes and fuel burping out of the fill neck whenever I fill up all the way. EVAP system was deleted so hopefully this will solve the venting issues. Little projects like this, even if the parts end up being hidden out of sight, are so satisfying. Still have some future projects on the list to do down the road before SAS 10

I need to do that at some point. How do you access that manifold piece? Behind the passenger cargo panel, or do you have to drop the tank?

I believe I have seen it behind the cargo panel right there. Easy access. My charcoal cannister is an ongoing problem as well. Every year I get it working again (blow air into it and spray a little brake cleaner) but it always freezes back up.

My paint job has suffered because of it over the 38 years….

I'm going to add that after running the truck for any length of time over half an hour, I get a whistling noise from behind the passenger cargo panel when I shut the motor off. I imagine one or more of the hoses has old fuel deposits that have created a narrow passage, and when the fuel vapors are trying to escape they make a sound going through the narrow spot. Maybe?

That is correct, through the rear passenger side cargo panel. Undo the bolts holding the vapor separator to the pillars then should be able to pull it all out in one piece. I cleaned by vap separator and redid all the vent lines back there. Hopefully cleaning that and replacing all the old lines it solves your whistling issue!

Also two bolts underneath the truck holding the bulkhead connector. I cleaned, scrapped, sprayed with some rust encapsulator and cosmoline to prevent any further corrosion under there

The pipes have powder coat on the outside only as antifreeze will eat it up in a heartbeat. Pic below of another set of coolant hoses complete!View attachment 4099402
Nice work, complete heater hose rehab w new wire clamps is big on my To Do list.
Your hard pipes by the valve cover look re-zinced, or new? Mine are crusty as hell, are those new?

This is from a few weeks ago, but I've had my Land Cruiser for 3 years and finally got to drive it in the snow for the first time.
Recently I'd been whining that it won't go over 60 on the highway...but I'm gonna shut my trap because she was AWESOME in the snow. No issues on snow-covered highways to and from work and we had a blast riding around in the woods afterwards. And honestly I couldn't believe my defroster worked so well haha

Got a couple major updates going on.
1. Rear quarter panel rust no longer exists. Land Cruiser of Houston did phenomenal work removing all the rusty bits, reworking the inner fender metal and welding in new panels on both sides. Finished it up with fresh paint (rip decals for now).
2. Two rust spots by the rear seat mounts have been taken care of as well by LCoH.
3. Had a spare rust free tailgate that came with the car. Got fresh paint on that and installed an HFAB storage hatch.
4. Finally got my parking break handle, spring and button replaced from @TRFarmers
5. Removed headliner and old insulation in order to start repairing the small pinholes along the roof edge.
