What did you do with your 60 this weekend?

Went and saw elk at the feed station. There were about 750 that just stay there with another 300 or so that came down at feed time. Then went to find some sledding and got good and stuck. Was a great time.

Dog park run for the scruff. 62 has been a champ these past few years. Just love this wagon. Next on the project list is a new stereo. While I love listening to the 3FE growl away, some tunes would be nice on the longer highway runs.

Got her all loaded up for departure tomorrow for the Lone Star Roundup. Held a bit NW of San Antonio. 3 day drive in the 60. Maureen says ‘Let Do it!’. I just follow orders.🙉🙏🙉

Working on putting in my new carpet. Does anyone remember where the smallest cable guard goes? It’s the second from right in this picture.

The other four are pairs and go in the front and rear doors. It’s been so long since I removed them that I’ve forgotten.

Restored them pretty decently with a WD40 wipe down. They’ve held up well for 41 year old plastic.

This is what I’m thinking, but I’m not sure how the other piece lines up.

Ah, this piece protects this T intersection(?) and meshes with the other long guard piece. Problem solved.

The driver’s door threshold has the harness that tees. My guess is that the smallest piece goes there.

I grew up calling the McKevlin's surf report daily. Wish I had recordings of Mr. Mac's voice and his reports, legend. I haven't been to Folly or the shop in ages, but man that photo brings back memories. 🤙 :beer:

What's the paint color on the wheels? Mine are currently a lighter shade of gray that I don't like. I've been looking for exactly the color you have!

I'm not sure honestly, PO had them painted. I'm actually going to paint these black eventually to go along with everything else.

Black would definitely look good on your truck too, I can see that. I've got the light blue metallic paint and white vinyl stripes, so a little different. The light gray and the white stripes are close enough together that they look weird not being exactly the same. Hence the plan to take the wheel color farther away from the stripe color. Charcoal approaching black is what I want.

Yeah the darker grey would look great on there!
