By hand with a brush and paint. I was in a rush late at night. Heres a quick timelapse.

So i figured why not go for round 3 and thats where most all the plating was removed. To get rid of all the bleach "properly" I took it to the local waist disposal place. The ENTIRE cargo area was filled with bleach containers.
After all that I spent an afternoon filling/gluing cracks and sanding by hand to even out the specs of copper left over.
Relatively so much time and $ spent to remove the chrome, my OCD set in and I didnt want to have to sand and paint in the future.
Probably wouldnt do it over again tho.

By the looks of the photos you posted it payed off. Everything looks really nice. I’m a big fan if hammered paint. I even painted a guitar in hammered paint because I’m nuts.

Yeah Im happy how it turned out, so theres that. HA.
The door handles are next. The color and finish of the Matte Hammered is actually pretty close to the OEM euro spec rear view mirrors. Stoked on that as well.
 
Added OME full length d1xl and d2xl add a leafs. Raised me up 1.5"!

Gray one has fair amount of rust around roof gusset arear.
Tan one very little rust typical cali cruiser.
I do owned a bodyshop in Fullerton.
As a matter of fact I just finished paint tan cruiser will upload pics tomorrow.
