Finished up the roof rack I started the other week. Cut out the mesh and and welded it in flush with the buttom, and added some tabs for lights in the sides. The local powder coated wanted $450, so it got rattle canned. Would be a waste to have it much nicer than the truck anyway :). It ended up being 46.6 pounds before paint.

It’s quite sturdy. I can walk all over it easily.

Visited a couple FJ60s at a repair shop today. Blue 60 is donating transmission to brown one. I needed hood springs because mine were horribly bent up when I foolishly drove with hood unlatched and it popped up in my face. Guy gave them to me-what a deal

Got a few things done on the 60. Put in a few LED upgrades on the front end lights. Dramatic improvement to nighttime driving.

Got around to installing my new Toyota steering wheel.

Give us the details on that wheel. Like it much better than a 62 wheel for sure.

Oem power steering pump replacement. Once everything is out of the way...it's not too bad. Saginaw was not my choice. Here's some before and after. I'm taking to the shop for de smog. I would have drove it there but it leaked power steering fluid like a coffee maker. Made a mess in my driveway.

Call it a 4 day weekend. Changed front gears to 4.11's. Added SumoSprings for bumpstops up front. Oh yeah, new bearings up front. The one side looked like it had burned the inner race, I didn't like the look of it. Cheap insurance. New
OME CS005RA rears and CS005F's up front. New shocks. Added Boss Airbags the 09T triple bag to help with
future loads. Should get the rear gears done this week. I was so happy I didn't have to rework the exhaust. I have
just finished redoing it muffler back and had hoped it was good for future airbags.
