I put some new wiper blades on front and rear for impending road trip. Livin on the edge for me.....lol

Installed a Jaos Bull Bar. It is actually for the 120 4Runner but the bottom brackets fit. I just need to fab some upper brackets to make it more sturdy. The real reason I wanted it was to have a good spot to add some aux lighting. Those are TJM 220 lights. They are awesome...

Changed oil and washed it on Saturday. Found that the front diff is leaking out drivers side axle seal. Probably will replace it this weekend if I have the motivation

GX is in the shop getting new TC LCA, cam tabs, and MT4x4 spindle gussets installed (and a new alignment).

Last two days, drove to the Chicago area, avg about 16 mpg doing 70-80mph

Camped in a Liquor store parking lot on a Saturday night so could be in line for tickets for Great Taste of the Midwest beer festival in Madison, WI. Had a walled canopy with 32" TV and a blu-ray player. I finally crawled into my front passenger seat for a nap at 4:30 AM. My truck is in the lot with a Yakima box on top. We partied in the white tent.

Front, rear and T case oil change. Installed HID's and ran taps through the grounds, then the bolts through a die and topped it off with some dielectric grease for extra protection and started working on the Kenwood head unit installation. Also fixed my stuck parking brake button problem and saved myself $145 by not buying a new one. Celebrated with a beer. Next is new tires and sliders. After that, a set of King suspension and TC upper control arms along with the rear air bag delete.

New tires.... 305/70R17 Toyo AT2 Xtreme

Looks bad A*%!! Are you running stock UCA's? If so do they rub with those wheels? Do you have a body mount chop as well?
Thanks

Looks great madtoy! How does she feel with the 305's?

Haven't had a chance to get on the highway yet. But they were super smooth and quiet on the 3 mile back road home.

@lobodog1 - Light Racing UCA set at the 1 degree setting instead of the neutral 2 degree setting. Then had caster dialed in at the bottom control arm to get ~3.5 degrees. I did chop the body mount, and pounded the pinch seem flat. Also cut and moved some plastic. No rubbing, but very close. These tires are every bit as tall as most 315's. Measure 33.25" tall loaded.

Roadside repair headed to captital reef. Friday afternoon alternator quit near Hite Utah. Had to drive to green river Utah and luckily Napa was able to get a reman alternator the next morning. Saturday morning and 4 hours later back on the road. Wife is getting ready for a bike ride as I repair.

What was the exact issue with your parking brakes, and how did you fix it?

started painting the RCI skid plates I got with Por15 paint.

It was a very odd problem. I removed the whole handle assembly and found the binding to be the pawl. I tried lubing it with no success, so my plan was to cut the head of the pin off and then replace it. Once I cut the head off, the pawl suddenly moved freely like it was brand new. The pin shows no sign of backing out, and I even tried pounding it out with a punch. The pin doesn't rotate with the pawl (meaning its not frozen) and so I reinstalled it and called it good.
