ECGS 3rd member? I've been pretty happy with my setup (same as yours only 4.56 gears). Note that the aftermarket 8.2 gears can be a bit noisy (gear whine). I finally quieted mine down by adding a tube of Liqi-Moly MOS2 Anti-Friction which worked very well.
Yep ecgs 3rd member. I sent them the rear and front diff to work on and install. I was going to try and do the gear install myself but at the end of the day it only cost me an extra 600 total.

Same here, not worth the time and tools when they can build them so cheaply. FYI - my first 3rd member lasted less than a year. It started making a ton of noise (whining at all speeds) and there was a lot of metal in the fluid. They sent me a 3rd member box with return label, rebuilt the 3rd member as soon as they got it, and sent it right back to me for free. The new one has been good so far. So, they do 100% honor their warranty.

I might have to steal that one! Great idea!

I’m sticking with stock suspension. I love the ride. Right now I’m using my airbags almost every day so I only have to throw my 75lb powerchair well like 2 or 3 inches less. The previous owner got a Stealership to put in new airbags like 25k miles ago. At 287k now. I’m waiting on VA to put a swiveling hoist in trunk and they move about the same speed as a glacier.

This morning I grinded down the lip on the hand control lever as I’m having someone 3D print me an adapter for a straight automatic shift lever with a button so I can still lock out at stoplights. Original handle is t shaped and hits my leg. Anything that requires sizing for me is such a pain and I’m only 6’2”. I feel bad for people over 6’5”

Oh yeah won’t go bigger than 32” tires

I have been a little while since I've done anything with my GX. In April I got my FJ40 and have been spending a lot of time playing with it. But I am going to get back to getting things done on the GX.

Since I got it I've wanted to get the headlights done. So I bought the CERAKOTE Ceramic Headlight Restoration Kit and I am amazed at how well it turned out. But now it makes me want to black out the headlights like in this video, I may or may not to the halos. Who knows...

I blacked mine out, it honestly wasn't too bad. I used Dupli-Color satin black wheel paint and let everything off-gas for a week before putting them back together. If I were to do it today I'd use a SEM satin black color coat instead.
