Yes this is my first pig. Its a December 69 so I'm not sure on the grill. Right now I'm just trying to piece out what's there.

Fresh paint 3 weeks ago. Have to replace front/rear brake shoes. Also waiting for the center arm rebuild kit to put on.

thanks,
Montano

Cool color combo!

I fixed my brake light switch and then picked up 6 bales of straw for party seating. Amazing how much room is in the old pig!

Yea cool combo - that off-white shade looks like the same off-white on my old pig.

If you guys want to see more pics, the thread is Woolrich PA Pig and StinkySwine71(old look when I got this pig).

Thank you,

I thought '69 had the bib-mounted turn signal indicators?

I checked out the grill today. It looks to have the mounting locations for the indicator lights. Looks like theyre sadly missing like much of the rig.

In other news I managed to remove the inch of fiberglass the po used to fill in a 1/4" dent on the hood.

Drove it 120 miles round trip to a friends house. Then had some fun on the ATV/UTV. Good times were had.

Rode through an area that a forest fire took about 10 years ago. Pretty cool.

OneManArmy and Npulver,

You both have beautiful wagons and it gives me alot of motivation to keep going on mine.

Thanks and have some fun for me!

today in 55 land

Today was a big day for the build. First, all the rims, ft. bumper and grille went to get stripped and primed. The jack set will get stripped and painted this week, as well as the side grilles. Paint is sorted as far as codes. Just sourcing the right vinyl for the seats and the interior panels, then will make new sub straights and get all the parts ready to install. Only missing side emblem (one TOYOTA)...the hunt continues.

stripped

Parts stripped and ready for priming. They are nice and straight with no pitting. This was yesterday morning so now they are primed. Paint will be shot Monday. Jack set is ready also. Next up are the rear seat back and base, along with the rear gate panel.

Looks good. I hope this does not seem like I am telling you what to do... But I would straighten that cross piece above "Toyota" on your grill before painting.
