Thats one of the things i love about this 55 forum. Out of all my forums this is my favorite because of the history and stories you get out of some of you guys. I also have never been on a car forum where people are SO passionate about there vehicles. Glad we have a great group of guys in here.
On a more related note (and without pictures.) I decided to pull some dents out of the rear quarter and tail light area. Didnt realize there was very little access to that area, which made much more difficult that expected. Got the bad side (passenger) pulled out about 50% of the way but couldnt get a crease to come out. Driver side i couldnt get any leverage in there to get it out. So the rest of the dents will have to wait until i get a porcupine welder (not sure what there actually called)
Also pulled the rear cargo area trim panels off to help get at some dents. Go to find out one of the previous owners used chaulking to hold them in place. They also used peg board for the cargo card instead of normal card material. lol. Thing that bugged me the most was the house insulation that was shoved behind them to stop the noise. Probably part of the reason the rear quarters are rusting at a fast rate (perhaps, other than its an iron pig...)
All in all it was a fun productive weekend with my pig.
