Painted the driver's side moldings this morning.

Installed new JDM horns and a throttle cable that I got from Akella. Jackson stopped by and assisted under the dash with the throttle cable, what a pain it is getting under the dash.

Installed my Puma 8ga extension cord, did such a good job hiding it, there's nothing to take a picture of. Also put a rubber mat under my spare and wired up my rear accessory outlet with a Molex plug.

Added moly grease to front axle knuckles.

Installed high beam HIR's in the low beam sockets. Seem much brighter but later testing will confirm

What did Saddletramp do to my 80?

1. Fixed power door lock actuator.
The arm in the actuator assembly was cracked. JB Weld the crack fixed it good so far.

2. Fun with snorkel.
The snorkel was not installed correctly. Saddletramp repositioned it. It looks so much better at the new position. We also found the installer didn't install the 2 nuts that are close to the firewall. Here are some before and after pictures.

Put a new battery in as it was a free replacement .

Installed my spare tire cover. It's about 4" short but the side Velcro does reach. Made for car tires apparently. Doesn't cover the entire sidewall but at least sleeping bags and jackets won't be against the tire now.
