After yesterday's ROTM up Mingus mountain, I decided to take Bill Gray road to east Sedona

Got the motor together. First go at the F. Really like the way it goes together. Except for that dumb three speed bell housing. Really tough to deal with when you have a locked up motor. Hears a couple picks. (Sorry about the tool porn) hope nobody flags me for it.

Picked up a replacement for my wife's 2000 that was totaled two weeks ago, now I get to start swapping parts...
It's an 06 with AHC but it does have the VVTI motor and 5 sp, drove it 700 miles home and I have to say it is a completely different animal than the 2000 we had.

What are your planc for the new ride?

I'm gonna try and keep the AHC for now, been reading up on mods to help it out. Donor parts from the 2000 include BIOR rear bumper, WNOR sliders, TJM skids, SPC upper control arms & rear HD lower arms, ARB rear locker with a ckma12 compressor for OBA, Warn VR10000, led interior lighting, oh and another Slee Blueberry front! I pulled the old one off today, it does not look that bad at all. I might be able to straighten it out even...:hmm: That should keep me busy for a while.

700 miles home, where did you pick it up?

I brought it back from Denver via Moab, landed in Denver at 3pm on Wed and made it back home around 9am Thur morn...:steer:

Got the BIOR bumper installed :D

Looks very clean. Curious to know from 100 series owners what the max spare tire size that fits in the factory location?
