Just noticed:
Badges, we don't need no stinking badges.

Very clean

Super nice! Who did the paint Murf?

Cbt body shop did the work

Cleaned the sand out of it from the Mexico trip

It was "whats behind that door panel?" weekend at my house...

On the 40, I finally got around to fixing the annoying rattle in my passenger door that reminds me everytime I drive but never seemed to get around to it. Friday evening I dug in and found the lock rod was simply (and constantly) tapping against the side of the metal door. some startegically placed foam and 1.5 yrs of noise is quieted like that :hillbilly::idea:

on the 80, the LR window fell off the track while driving up to Fountain hills on Saturday. Quickly took the door apart and placed it back on the track and made some slight adjsutments. I think the same happened to my RR a few years back...

I have this same issue on the LR passenger side when it goes down a certain distance the roller pops out of the track. Happened down in Mexico again and takes about 5 minutes to fix. Got to find the root cause.

The glass will most likley be removed and the track that mounts to the bottom of the glass slid over a little to keep the roller from extending too far and coming out of the frame channel. I couldnt do it while it was in the truck...

Chances are you loose the window around the 1/2 down point. I have done the repair with Medtro. I would suggest getting new rubber for the channel prior. Remove the window and get ready to worry as you reinstall the new rubber and press (beat) the channel over the rubber onto the window glass. The FSM does not show the use of any sealant FWIR. The fit with the new rubber is TIGHT.

On Murf's you can see where the window had slid on the track causing the problem.

Thanks Phil for the help! Phil is right about the 1/2 point. My kids are trained not to roll down the rear windows more than half on any long trip :).

You can get the rubber for the front window, cut it into half and use them for both rear windows. This was Phil's  too.

Where did you get the rubber and do you have the part number?

Front door filler

Rear door filler

My experience so far is only rear windows have this problem. I have done 3 rear windows, tried the 4th one and failed because it was done with sealant by previous owner. It stayed in place so good and I decided not to replace it. I looked at the front window regulator, it operates differently from the rear window regulator. My conclusion is that the front window will never fall out of track like the rear window.
