Swapped out my 10ish year old house AGM for a LifePo4 battery over the weekend. Changed the setting on the Redarc BCDC, added a shunt, cleaned up some wiring, and replaced the M4 solar connecters that had become loose from my abuse. Bigger PITA than I had planned per usual. No before pics... but trust... it was a bit of a mess.

Added a MOLLE panel to the backside of the galley. Organized a bit and added a fluids and straps bag

I did the exact same thing this spring. My AGM was around a decade old too. I am staggered how much better the LiPo batt has been. You're going to love it! And the fact that its less than half the weight is just a bonus!

The rest of the setup looks great. It might be fun to compare everyone's camping setups in its own thread. I'd love to see the variation. Yours looks awesome and has gotten some work since I saw your rig at Expo a few years back, eh?

Your recent work and a Dr. Prepare sale were the inspiration! Love what you're doing with the place.

It's a constant work in-progress like our freeways and overpasses.

Yeah - I've just been stateside and your freeways and overpasses are in much better shape than ours. ;)

Its never ever done though, is it... I got back from my trip and immediately started adjusting things AGAIN. LOL.

Don't suppose you're going to the BIG THING from XO in Montana in July? Anyone else from here going? Me and three buddies are crossing the border again. On the way down we are hoping to cross off some more BDR's from our list, this time in Montana and maybe Idaho. The little Kamparoo is likely tagging along for this one.

My buddy @roma042987 had to work in Northern Michigan so he dropped me his trailer with his 40 series frame on it for powder coating
Got it done and loaded back on his trailer for when he rolls back through.
Had to use the 79 for hauling to make it proper!

The log strapped on the front for tongue weight is standard Roma thinking outside of the box! 🤣

You are very welcome! Glad you got to stay on your way back through, even though we only had a little while to catch up. Getting home to see your kids on Father's Day is #1 priority!

I'm glad to see the little red flag (shop rag) I wrapped on there held up all the way to Alabama!

Finally got the OEM flares on the HZJ-73.

What did I do with with my 70? I didn't, @45JHP did!

Victor and I are working together to restore his original FZJ78. This was my first 78 to sell and it is going to a place in usa that has a special in my heart., Bay Area.

How can I start?
All front body is new. Fenders, hood, face, and more. All of that has been cover with two layers before the paint, repair any 70 series cracks, and a rear door with a spare carrier.

We are going to add the Extra selents around the body,

And yes, we showed Victor the naked body before the primers.

Added a computer style helper fan for the camping fridge.
Its comes on via an old school bi-metal thermostat.
It lives just behid the back seat where it can blow on fridge coils.
