About a month an ago I installed a km/h to MPH dial in the KZJ78 from Lockwood International. I did need to punch holes for the timing belt reset but other than that it was a direct fit.

I suspect they'll see a bump in sales after your post. Thanks for sharing.

Been working on templating and fitting out ceilings and wall paneling for my boat, got side tracked and started my centre console design, because I could do with another 1/2 finished job. Next step is to fibreglass the cardboard, then have a go at upholstering.

Any issue removing the needle?
No. I used two plastic panel tools, pointed the needle upwards to about 80km the gently pressed it up on the sides using the screws as my leverage points. Reinstalled by gently pressing it back on while keeping the alignment pointed to zero. Don’t move the needle past the stop points. If you move the needle too far it changes the calibration of the speedometer.

Breaking in the new garage with some maintenance on the fuel filtration situation. I have a filter and a pre filter. Changed the main metal cartridge filter last fall and noticed that all the fuel hoses were cracking radially and wanted to change all this out with as much new part goodness as I could find

I wanted to change out both top portions, main and pre, as well as all the hoses and clamps.

I could not, anywhere in the world, find a new pre filter top section (that the metal bowl bolts to) but I was able to get must of the other stuff including the main filter top that holds the hand pump mechanism.

The pre filter was horrible. Ancient. Who knows how old. And loaded with crud. So all that got trashed and replaced.

New Gates fuel hose throughout and new Toyota hose clamps.

And the sting in the tail. The main filter top housing is intended for, I'm thinking, a different 75 series. I ordered the correct part number and this would work but the original banjos drop down at 90 degrees but the new ones go left and back in a way that would be hard to fit the hoses to. Maybe a firewall mount? Anyway, it could be made to work and I'll keep it as a spare.

I hate cutting and splicing into any vehicle harness. I installed a TJM bumper and wanted to hook up the running lights and turn signals. I found the plugs on eBay and built a plug in harness that goes between the vehicles wiring harness and the vehicles lights. A true PNP. You will need a set for each side.
Here is how it pinned out for me:
Red = Ground
Blue = Turn Signal
Black = Running Lights
Double check what you get, these came from China

Looking for help. I tried to DIY Pertronics electronic ignition. Replaced the distributor hooked it all up and it wont fire. I’ve never done timing or gapping plugs. Didnt think it would be such a head scratcher but i dont know what i dont know. I dun messed it up. Anyone want to make a house call in Glendale AZ ? Im paying cash weather you make it run or not. Just looking for some help.

Freeze. Before you throw anything away, try to return it to stock while the work is still fresh in your mind. If the garbage has already run, I would talk to the people at Pertronix, I'm sure they have some kind of support. But if you're going to take this truck long distances you need to keep it stock for reliability. Bone stock. It's not a Ford - you can't improve it.

I am slowly nibbling away at this 70-75' tall pasture pine. Its core is toast and a large leader dropped (no one heard is as we were out of town.....) For this purpose my Toyota tractor has more grunt than my orange Japanese iron and has been instrumental in coaxing ~60 foot chunks to go where I want them to.
