That change was brought about by improving the crash rating of the 70 series in relation to pedestrian impact. Quite laughable when every 70 series has a large amount of unmovable steel on the front end.I had never seen the two versions of the “scooped hood” side by side and simply thought they were similar but clearly they are not. So in other words, instead of being paralyzed, you now just have a dozen broken bones. That change was brought about by improving the crash rating of the 70 series in relation to pedestrian impact. Quite laughable when every 70 series has a large amount of unmovable steel on the front end.

Soft solder was strong enough to pull the dent out?
very nice work, so clean!
Gorgeous! Looking forward to the finished product, that paint color is really nice.Made some 3B => 12H-T modifications in the engine bay:
Relocated clutch slave cylinder to the right side of the bell housing, had to pull a new pipe from the master cylinder.

Instead of modifying the BJ75 radiator, I ended up ordering a HJ75 radiator from allfourx4.com. After I got two damaged radiators, they raised their hands and sent my money back.. Luckily I managed to repair one

What scoop did you install ?
The Red Hills decal is also cool.I got the Ironman 4x4 Medium 2” lift on. remind me not to get into the lift business!!!! I left the prior lift shackles on for now until I get my pinion angles checked out but so far everything looks ok. She drives great but maybe a hair bouncy compared to stock but nothing bad. The back is slightly higher although the pics exaggerate the look.…. Maybe it will settle some .

Usually the back stays high and the front start sagging soon under the weight of the engine. You can level it by either putting weight in the back or remove a few leafs out of the rear packs.I got the Ironman 4x4 Medium 2” lift on. remind me not to get into the lift business!!!! My front was a bit nose saggy from heavy front bumper/winch combo. When I added a welded rear bumper with rear rocker guards, tire swingout with high lift 5gal water and fuel it leveled out.
