I think it is black matte paint with a couple of clear coats on top - i thought about powder coating it but this was faster and the guy that painted them gave me the same warranty-

Installed a new OEM blower motor today.

Last picture shows the all important blower motor resistor (87138-90K00 for 24v 7x series trucks).

I swapped the resistor out as well and put the old one into my truck spares box.

They are indeed pricey. But man are they incredible light units.

Added a tuffy console and some pneumatic switches to take the place of the ARB rocker switches and extra wiring. The toggle switch activates the arb compressor and the LED then the pneumatic throw switches engage the lockers.

The switches are pneumatic machine application. The have a push in air line lock like the arb uses on the compressor, no electrical connections. So the compressor activates and sends air to the pneumatic switch which then operates the lockers. Thety are spring loaded to the off position and when flipped off the air bleeds off through the switch with a light psst noise. That last part may not be too attractive to some but I like it. This eliminated all the wiring to the arb rocker switches.

Moved the compressor up to the engine bay and it now requires a heat shield since it is located adjacent to the turbo. It was mounted behind the rear seat and was taking up valuable space!

Replaced my door panel clips! Finally!

Removing the old busted clips.

New clips!

And all clipped in!

I no longer have to use a magnetic koozie to keep the panel corner from popping out of the door. Thanks @wct49 for the multifunctional koozie!
