This song has always had a place in my heart. It was a kind of guiding light for me, to follow my dreams and go for it rather than take a "safer" route. I have followed my dreams and made it a point to continue doing that. I am currently living my earliest of dreams, having a small shop and building custom vehicles. This dream took root as a kid of 5 or 6. All my Dad's buddies were car guys and I was 6 in 1966 when our next door neighbor came home with a brand new Mustang. Anyway, I've been chasing that Neon Rainbow all my life and I would not have it any different. Chase your dreams folks, it feeds your soul.

Angry? Disappointed? A little psychopathic? Here’s your (our) song:

Pretty much nothing but Black Sabbath and Ozzy the last 24 hours

Don't think i've ever been sadder for a musicians death that I can remember. Lots of great ones to me have passed in my time Kurt, Layne, Chris, Chester, Dimebag, Tupac, Lemmy etc...... but none of them came close to touching the star that is Ozzy (ok maybe Lemmy came close) Black Sabbath is one of the earliest bands I can actually remember knowing about and was my first "hard rock" band that set up my musical preference for the rest of my life. I met him, Andrea met him and this is said about a lot of people but I seriously don't think you could find a nicer or caring person on the planet outside of maybe Robin Williams.

RIP to the Prince of "Darkness" a moniker given to him early on by the press and Karens with nothing better to do in their lives. To a guy that brought light into so many people's lives it's not really fitting.

The two metal gods together...... now both rocking heaven like never before

This is when music had depth… damn, I was a junior in high school 1968. Fantastic times
EDIT:
I had forgotten about these shows. Saw one in 2010 and just went to YouTube to watch at least a dozen performances of the 2023 series… intense!

One of the bands I worked for early in my career after I stopped playing around 2005 was a group of old rockers that included the keys/singer from Sugarloaf and the drummer/singer from Blues Image. They played 3-4 songs from the catalog of all the members. I was familiar with Green Eyed Lady but it was the first time I'd heard this one. Jump to 1:25 for the start and an insanely awesome organ & guitar combined tone.

I'm pretty sure @NCFJ @knuckle47 @fj4075nc and maybe @LDowney probably know of both of these bands from their heyday but I hate knowing that fewer people know of them each year that passes. My parents weren't really into music but I often wonder what the guys under my father's command in Vietnam in 1966 and 1970 thought about missing out on all the music being released while they were sending lead into the jungle.

And for those who don't know, this is a taste of Blues Image. The first white band signed to Motown, IIRC.
