Grace Potter & Trampled By Turtles- "Helpless"

I saw this guy on the CMAs last night, a real singer!!

Pretty sure my music tastes do not line up with others here in the club. Seeing how I like music at the extreme ends of the musical spectrum. Though when I am here at the office we usually listen to a constant rotation of Tribal Seeds, Rebelution, and SOJA.

Huh? I'm pretty sure you made those up, but if not I'll probably be working for them all once they've been gone long enough that people think they're dead.

Do any of them cover Afternoon Delight?

Ok I am not going to lie I had to google Afternoon Delight, not sure what that is, but I can assure you non of those groups would cover anything like that. Tribal Seeds, Rebelution, and SOJA are more roots music than anything else. Its good music for the office. All the girls here love it.

I don't know if I would consider reggae on the extreme end. Not sure what genre would fall under that category

Nor would I at all. I was just saying that's what we have playing in the office.

I added Chris Stapleton to Pandora.

Jason Isbell in Boone this evening... very good show, I had not seen him before.
Haven't caught his solo show yet, though I listen to it a good bit. Really one of the best singer / songwriters out there right now IMO. Loved him in Drive by Truckers!

So, I've been into some blues recently, ran across Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart the other day.

+1 ^

Man, that's some good stuff right there! Definitely adding them to Pandora.

It was a great venue - only about 1600 seats and a good crowd, so that definitely was a plus.

Had to get up at 40 today to drop my car off at the airport and take the light rail into Seattle for work and then get off early to go pick up Brett from the airport. So my alarm was set for a full volume Judas Priest

Nothing like this to wake you out of your slumber.

Jimi Hendrix, Monster Magnet and Led Zeppelin.

Monster Magnet, Space Lord:

never heard of monster magnet before, but that was interesting.

The band on stage during the recent terrorist attack in France was Eagles of Death Metal, an American band formed by Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme. Josh Homme is also the singer/songwriter/guitarist of the band, Queens of the Stone Age. While I'm not a big fan of Eagles of Death Metal I do love QOTSA. The France attack has prompted me to bring my QOTSA albums (CD's) back into heavy rotation. QOTSA brought us this little gem several years back and it is one of my favorite music videos of all time. Excellent song too!
