Tempted to start MJ's Thriller but not sure I can stay awake long enough to hear it all. All I can say is that Quincy Jones produced it. The man also wrote the theme to Sanford and Son, one of the greatest TV songs ever.

If you didn't know, Eddie Van Halen played the guitar solo on Beat It. He wasn't credited because Van Halen was at the height of their popularity and he didn't want anyone to know he did it. But when Quincy Jones calls because Michael Jackson wants something, you do it. I wish I had that problem.

Murf likes it!

Humble Pie - 30 Days In the Hole. I love this kind of stuff. Harmonies, guitar interplay, lots of space, left/right dependent mix, etc. Could have been recorded live; no fancy overdubs with superfluous parts. Just great headphone rock n roll.

Loggins and Messina On Stage ... just realized this album is 41 years old ... still pretty good stuff ;)

Glitch Mob, Daft Punk, deadmau5 right now.

Pink Floyd, Supertramp, and the Alan Parson Project later.

The voices in my head....................

Sponge - "Rotting Piñata". I've probably posted this one before, but I love it for when I need to sit in the dark and unwind. You can fall asleep to it or stay awake and contemplate the music depending on what you need.

Wife and I will be in Charlotte tonight for The Decembrists concert at The Fillmore... So we're listening to them now.
