I'm surprised Mr. New President and Downhill haven't posted any pictures in this thread yet.

Alright, I've been shamed into it.

Just one??? I beg your pardon ,Sir theres more than one!!! Oh yeah I also found two broken motor mounts while taking the old motor out during the v-8 swap! Now thats some hard driving!!!:steer:

Heres a picture of Tom Victors 2wheel drive Toyota pickup. Hes got very little money in it:wrench::wrench::wrench:. Its a real workhorse. He has Springs from a Toyota Motor home and the Rv cam in it.:hhmm: I was pretty impressed with the load of firewood he was totting with it. Enjoy

I actually found an okay place to wheel in Florida... Only took 2 years. Just need to add some rocks in the sand and we'd have a winner. Other pic is St. Mary's Ga. Water and sand, unfortunately that's all I've found in Florida so far (near me).

Which pic? Neither were bad. 1st pic was today after work and was just a "pose" for the camera. 2nd pic was a year ago and my first test of the rear-mounted winch pulling forward (which you've already seen in action pulling backwards). I woulda kept tryin but the engine started to gurgle so I shut her down, winched it, and kept on wheelin.

Um, lets see. The engine starting gurgling could be the correct answer. :whoops: :flipoff2:

Cool pics, mine wasn't that deep. I don't know about yours but my air intake is directly behind the driver's headlight and my latest deep mud/water incursion is making me think snorkel.

Yeah, figured you meant that one. Sometimes people think I'm about to roll over in some of my pics though but they're usually just poses for the camera. Yeah the intake is there for most fuel-injected 4 banger yotas; Tacos included. Mine's carbed so it's the highest point in the engine bay. I think mine was gurgling from water seeping into the distributor and from slowing down the exhaust exiting. Snorkel is definitely a good idea for a precautionary mod. FI trucks need to mod the computer housing to waterproof it too. There's a few ways to do that.

Someone can buy me a snorkel!! Had one on my last Taco and it was awesome... never hooked it up all the way but it looked cool. Its currently on Zacks (southerntaco) truck.

Here she is right after I picked her up at the Denver airport.

Here is her maiden voyage to the woods. I was amazed at the performance. Many, many trips to come!
