Here's the mess of wires I'm dealing with. A glow plug relay, starter relay, as well as windshield washer lines are going to have move a bit.

i THINK i flipped them around so the fender stuck inside the fender instead of out and i MIGHT have run the wires inside the fender as well

I picked up a NIB 24 volt Webasto and read this through this thread for install ideas.

Crushers, my install instructions allow for drawing off the diesel supply using a "T" within certain limits.

danakittilsen, how did your test go? If you have any useful left overs give me a shout. Currently looking for a timer. I have 2 12 volt Espars as well but they need work.

your still alive after this nasty dump we got?
yes, that is how i run it as well, T into the main feed line but air bubbles are a huge NO NO. so play safe.

Yup, still kickn'. Running out of space to put snow. Have 2 boys now that cause havoc and destruction...

As my install is on a different vehicle it will be an experiment. I was worried about how close to components I could be but from the photos on here I'll be ok. I'll have to move a few bits.

I'm thinking of using the webasto for hot shower while camping....oh yeah.

Finally got my webasto installed

Used the exhaust wrap. Smoked a bit at first but calmed down by the time I finished a beer.

I ordered this simple 12v DC device remote starter for about 20$ off eBay. Works like a charm.

I'm also using my old dual set suspension switch to create an in dash switch. Having it relabeled right now. I'll post a pic when I get it back

Finally got a chance to install my timer.

I purchased a spare center console trim piece that's in rough-ish shape and cut a hole in it for the timer. There's just enough clearance underneath. I have a few more holes to drill for a switch panel I'm making and then I'll refinish it.

When the webasto is running, does it vibrate at all?

Tell me, what is the size of cut out for the timer and outside size of timer

If I can figure out how to get my scanner working I'll upload the supplied template.
