First time I saw an oasis air comp I had the same idea. Should have patented it. I would be collecting royalties now!

Wow-two problems solved at once. Plus, Warn makes good stuff. Very nice. Who will be the test sled on ih8mud?

I'll try it if they send me one! :)

Oh don't you dare....then the ih8mud collective is really going to have to hurt you for making your already incredibly awesome rig just that much cooler! :flipoff2: ;)

Your Cruiser is enough to make a grown man :crybaby:

Anyone have a spare 12HT laying around? :D

The concern for me is that the winch is so tall that is looks like it would be a major blocker of air flow through the radiator.

i also saw an ad the other day for it, i had to do a double take.

looks badass

saw a photo:
-it's really ugly
- doubt it would fit in my ARB... (would it? :) )

I've tested it on a Tacoma as well as an FJ Cruiser. Story will be in the next issue of 4WD Toyota Owner (Nov/Dec 2006)

Overall it's a very good unit! The compressor is FAST. 0-35 in under two minutes.

Forgot, some photos here:

and below. Airflow is helped by large slots in the compressor grille that feed cooling air to it and the truck. But it does block some.

Nice link to cruiser eye candy.
I also saw that power plant in a mag recently.
Great idea but I question having it in one unit.
You know the old if one fails then you loose both thing.

A separate reservoir would be a great idea here. That way, you can have stored air for locker operation while operating the winch. That would also make airing up large tires a little faster and keep the winch motor temp down.

As far as air blockering, don't we as a group install mondo lights that block more air than this thing would?
