I ventured outside of our little hole here and almost got banned because of my avatar. Guess it didn't meet the "family safe" aproval. So I have a more optimistic avatar now.

Saw that. Got bored.

You should see how much gear I've seen some people take. I pack very light in comparison.

Lol. that's pretty good. I'm certainly one of those that brings to much. That being said I never even knew what overlanding was until Steve started getting into the business.

Other than the Dish and the heater I think i'm pretty bare bones for the most part. I just like being comfortable camping. Most of my stuff is more redneck camping than overland camping.

I like super fast setup and take down. I HATE taking an hour to setup camp and two to get going. 10 minutes up or down for me.

...and the cafeteria size chafing pan and 20lbs of pork butt and the air conditioner and the rolled up persian rug...

I'm particular about what I bring, but certainly not frugal when I've got spare space in the truck. If I think there's a 10% chance I'll need something, I throw it in the truck.

If I had a dedicated trailer, it'd be a swiss army knife of a trailer where everything just folded back up into place and we'd be rolling. I just can't justify the $$$ for something like that at the moment. Plus it takes all the fun out of packing the truck. I think I like packing almost as much as I like camping. I think of it as a puzzle - try to get all that crap into that cargo area...good times.

i hate packing almost as much as i hate unpacking!!

I would like to say that as many times as I stared at it, I was never once offended.

i was offended...she wasn't asian.

If she was asian and didn't have those tiger paws on her tatas...i would say it was OK with me

i was deeply offended. Did not show enough. What happened to the dude with the avatar of a topless women pointing a gun at u? Liked that one too.

Gabe...we got to talk the women into letting us hit a trail this weekend!

lol tommorow is the only day i could an i am already committed to other engagements. Would like to get with u one thurs u are off and start swapping the doors and fenders out though.

Does anyone have input on a 1975 restored Airstream Argossy trailer selling for $1800... only needs a water heater... I am thinking of buying it but know nothing about them things...

met with 3pitts today and robbed him blind!!!! New to me doors, fenders, rear heater hose lines and front bumper!! No pics though!!

guess you decided against getting that key and the tires and wheels....:flipoff2:

Did I mention that was not my cruiser and you were on camera driving away with the parts in your truck....? :hillbilly: I edited the part where I helped you...

Bob, I saw a mid-70's airstream on auction kings (I think) go for over 10,000.
I think 1800 would be a steal.
