I posted this in the Facebook Group, but I'm thinking about going on a trail run after coffee - nothing crazy because I'll have kids with me, but I've been itching to get on the trail. If anyone's interested, let's coordinate and maybe grab dinner on the way home.
I have practice scheduled for the team I coach from Noon - 4pm, otherwise I would be all about this!

Where are you thinking of heading? I'll have the wife and kids with me, but I may be able to talk her into going.

I'm totally open and would love suggestions. I used to four-wheel a ton in high-school / early college (in a Jeep, the horror), but I've just recently gotten back into it now that I have the cruisers up and running. I tackled Walking Stick Road recently, but if it's been raining that might be a big bite (and my trucks aren't lifted). Any recommendations?

Musterground Road Trail looks cool. Brown Mountain looks good too, but seems like a lift is helpful deeper into the trail and lockers are helpful. Thoughts or other recommendations?

We ended up doing something with the family after. I am down to go explore in the next week or two. Not familiar with Walking Stick Rd, but after a quick Google search, it looks like a fun one.

Have you checked out Gorges yet?

I haven’t been to Gorges but it’s on the list. I’m down for a trip any time soon.

Want to look at this upcoming weekend or after Cruisers and Coffee on the 7th (or that Sunday)?

Let us know if we can chip in for the food.
Really appreciate that! I will send you a Dm. For everyone’s info: all proceeds I receive go right back into the event to improve everyone’s experience.

For each event going forward I will be brewing the coffee on site. So it will be as fresh as possible and keep warm for the event duration.

Does anyone have coffee recommendations? I usually pick a medium roast, always USDA organic. And will provide good ole cow milk, and a milk alternative. 🍻

I also have a kitchen in the rear of the cruiser that can boil water if people bring tea or hot chocolate.

Hey everyone! The next Cruisers and Coffee is December 7 from 9-11am. Make sure to register through the link below so that I can get a head count on coffee and bagels. Hope to see you all there!

Cruisers and Coffee Registration

Just confirming that there will also be one on January 11th? I have it on my calendar but haven't seen anything here on MUD. We had someone stop by our house asking to purchase my wife's 2007 LX 470...my wife talked to him on our ring camera while I was filling up the car at QT. I shot him a text with a link to another LX for sale by an ONSC member and invited him to join this event as even GX's are welcome I assured him!

Hey guys! Next C&C is coming up on January 11th! Don’t forget to RSVP so that I know how many people to provide hot coffee and bagels for! The new coffee carafes kept the stuff hot for the entire duration, so come on out!

RSVP here:

Also, first trail ride is quickly approaching on Feb 1st! Get your rigs ready for a fun day trip down to Gulches! We will start things off by running easy trails and progressing to moderate and finally the hard stuff. I’ll bring the trailer and have coffee on standby for lunch! All you need to do for this is purchase your day pass and sign the waiver through gulches website. We will discuss it further at Jan C&C! ☕🍻

(Work was just a bit busy this week, kept meaning to post on mud.)

Hey guys, I sent out a few posts but wanted to also update on here! Cruisers and coffee has been rescheduled to next Saturday (1/18 from 0900-1100) due to the expected 6-7” of snow we should be getting. Instead of coffee and bagels this Saturday, go do donuts in the snow! 🍻 see ya then.

Well unfortunately didn't get as much snow as we hoped for, but rode up to horsepasture in the 80 loaded 5 deep, and met a couple buddies in a 4th gen 4Runner. Had a good time cruising around. Until at the very end at shooting tree rd, my buddy locked his keys in the 4Runner with it running. Ended up calling a friend in Clemson who grabbed his spare key from his apartment and ran it up to us in his 80. At that point it was late and it was a little sketchy headed back out of the mountains. The small roads to hwy11 were real iffy. And then even 11 was super slick. By the time we got into pickens there was almost nothing on the road. And by the time we got back to Mauldin it was clear.
