Between Upstate and ONSC I wonder.🤔🤔🤔
5 acres bordering Uwharrie NF and the river? It’d be one hell of a base camp/ event area/ always open camp spot. I’d be willing to pitch in with a group too. Anyone down to possibly even explore this idea? Dm if you wanna do it that way. Hopefully the link will work up top

It's sad, but not unexpected. They had trouble getting new blood to take over the reigns, and the event was hosted at a RV park. Good for people with RVs, but IMO it lost the allure of more primitive camping trips. That and the venue was like 30-45 minutes from the park, meaning you had to either tow your crawler from the event to the park every day, or camp at the park away from the event.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!! Awesome group of guys, they taught me how to wheel.

Preaching to the Mud choir here, but there are a lot of members that don't do the forum thing. To at least reach those that maintain some Facebook presence, UC has a FB Group now too.

LOL, I didn't know I wasn't a member of the FB group.
There wasn’t one, or if there was it was buried and forgotten. UC had a FB “Page”, but there was no way to really interact.

Just saw a YT video about this.

I've been watching a few of those lately. Never even knew there was anything like this but a lot of it is gravel and pavement. There is some decent stuff in the upstate but most of the rest I just don't know. But it would be nice to see some new areas of the lowcountry and Eastern, SC.

Much like the GA Traverse.

Got rear ended a couple of weeks ago. Uninsured motorist who won't be located by the insurance company or the police . . .

Lift gate, tailgate, rear bumper, brake light, and the floor pan where the tailgate attaches are all buggered. Prelim est. in the $8K range. If the floor pan is worse than it looks, then closer to $13k.

I feel certain it can be repaired. Just a question of what it will really require.

Looking for parts is a pain.

Any suggestions on locating good tail and lift gates? Mine have zero rust.

Hey what’s up guys? When’s the next meet up? Would like to get together.

Anyone going to Cruisers on the rocks this year?
Not doing the Rocks, but holler if you want to meet up. If I am not on a soccer field I will try to make it. Maybe you can get someone else to show up too.

Alright, well I’ll be at COTR this year. 4th year in a row, probably the most fun IFS cruiser event in the states that I know of… besides crockies. Put on by forum member @ga12r1

Can def plan a meet up soon, got alot going on currently but will circle back here and organize something. Thinking probably just meeting up for some wings, and drinks.

Of course, if you want to trail ride. Will have to wait until after COTR.

Thought I would drop this here for any 200 owners. Been using the Offroam MagSafe iPhone mounts in an a few vehicles and they have been the best I’ve used. The magnet is very strong and I haven’t had the phone fall off yet, unlike other brands I’ve used. The wife contacted them late last year about making a mount for the 200. They just reached out to her saying it will be released in December. They also make them for the 70 and 250 series.
