New halogen upgrade kit for the headlights and new indicator lenses to round things off.[/QUOTE]

Did you already get these? I highly recommend the trucklite LED inserts, kickarse light and 1/5 of the draw.

those ones look like s***. 500lm is a joke.
Its nice to have the yellow light of your headlights.
Your headlights will go further, not to mention if your ever in snow (tough in aus) the LED don't generate enough heat to keep the lens clear.

Nah, those type aren't the ones. They're for forklifts and the likes. Search :
Truck-Lite 27270C 7" Round LED Headlamp

Finished the dynamat extreme to the remainder of the floor. 100% covered now. Should keep the road noise way down.

Then 5mm rubber over the top so I can just sweep it out when I get home from the beach

I/C pump fixed, bonnet scoop painted and fitted, oil catch can with ss drain line to turbo oil drain fitted. All engine work now complete. I'm just waiting for my extended kick down cable to turn up and I'm in business.

Nice!
I have been thinking about the sound deadener.
I really like the rubber you put down.
I hate carpet in trucks.

"oil catch can with ss drain line to turbo oil drain fitted"..... I'm not sure I like this settup if I'm understanding it correctly..... you're sharing an oil drain into the sump or some other place and then into the sump, between turbo and catch can..... it may not matter since in reality the catch can should have very little oil going thru it.... but i'd be very wary of slowing/interrupting oil draining from the turbo..... worst case it starts to stop/slow draining from the turbo and starts to sneak past the turbo seals.... not the end of the world but still not failsafe... keep up the good work and info coming....

Ozwallaby.

I've fitted the catch can to the rocker cover vent. It's got a drain valve on the bottom so I ran a ss line from there to a t piece in the drain line from the turbo to the sump. It won't interrupt the flow, it'll be all sweet.

The last bit of soundproofing will be to line the inside if the front doors with dynamat and then stuff the rear side panels with roofing batts. I did this with my last Troopy and it worked really well.

Still, here, still off the road. I had problems with my auto trans conversion. Long story short, the input shaft had some problem that the calibrated eye ball and vernier couldn't pick up. I'm bloody lucky that Rodney from Wholesale Automatics in Melbourne was such a nice bloke, he really looked after me and got me back on track so I'll post a video in the next week or so when I'm back on the road. Today's post is about my intercooler pump. I bought a Bosch Cobra from the states which pumps 25 L/min. I convinced myself that it couldn't cope with the head pressure of the big I/C and resistance from the oversize radiator out the front. So I bought a Davies Craig electric water pump. 80 L/min. I also found an in line digital flow meter so I can verify what I'm getting, that'll be a couple of weeks as it's coming by camel from China.

Check out this little beauty, $350 by the time I bought the 19mm adaptor inlet/outlets.

If anyone in Australia wants the Cobra, I paid $250 for it, it's brand new, $150 with free postage. Perfect for any normal setup, I think stock pumps do about 8 L/min.
