@Rice
If he is gonna do it he needs to go big. This hangs in my hall, pulled it out of a huge house on the Main Line in Philadelphia in the late 80s.

Man that is friggin awesome!

Right there with you brother, that piece has been bolted to a wall in every place I've lived for the last 28-30 years. :)

I have an uncle with a huge old house in Vermont that has open fuseboxes like that all over the house.

I'll only agree to it if it's attached to a van de graff generator and every time I flip the switch a hunched over assistant says "yes master"...

How bout goin wireless, and using a Tesla coil, and shooting arcs of electricity between the truck and trailer? Would look really cool drivin down the road, with the under trailer lights synched up to the music, somethin classy, like Metallica's Ride the Lightning or somethin

So the shower and sink, I.E: waste water is all done.
First I had to get a variety of plumbing supplies.

And make a huge mess.

So. Water comes out of the faucet

IMG_6456.JPG

And goes into this little doohickey. Which switches between the faucet and the shower.

White hose goes to the sink table faucet:

The other hose goes to this shower head which will be hanging in the enclosure.

Inside the bottom of the enclosure will be this lightweight hot water heater pan. It's got a drain.
IMG_6460.JPG

The T is where both drains meet.

Got 25 feet of discharge hose and another 20 foot extention hose if I need it.

Total weight of the table and drip pan and all fixtures. 29 lbs. not bad.

At 29 lbs/ft2 lol

Lookin good James. May wanna consider a check valve of sorts so you dont get scrambled egg bits in your shower pan ;)

Yeah - thought about the potential draining issue - that 1" leader pipe from the T thingy to the pan is just a slip fit. If there's backwash I can just put a longer leader pipe to fix it.

AC back in place.

Still have to face the cabinets and build some more inner structure. Doors are being custom built and a corner hinge is on order.

Wind turbine is my latest 'what if' project. Working on a mast system - telescoping flagpoles, sailboat masts, galvanized steel pipe in sections? Guide lines? Etc. hoping to add another 400-500w of power (potential - rated as 600w max) for less than $300. Just slightly cheaper than the current $1 per watt that solar is now.

Man we just took down an aluminum flag pole at work. I think it's like 3 five to six foot sections. I can try to get it for you if you want?

Yes! I have to see if it's thick enough but yes please!

Roger that I'll get it.

Would have made a bunch of electricity tonight!!
IMG_6504.JPG

600 watts max.
400 watts rated
Whatever that means.

Point being. $160 for 400 watts is less than half the cost of solar.

Wind generator was only $160? Where did you get it?

Hopefully it's more efficient than this one:

Start watching about the 4:45 mark for wind reference and output results at the end.
