More progress on @Kmonty66 coil spring conversion.

Out with the old, cleaned up the frame, positioned the 80 axle and will start the brackets and arms next week. Coils are Trail Tailor custom tapered wire in TT red.

What are you using to clean the frame? Fine grit flapper disc? Doesn't look like the usual scoring you see from a coarse grit.

Do you have any more info on the 80 axles conversion kits? I don't see them on your website. I have both axles and control arms etc., I'm just wanting to look at my options. I'd like to put coils on for the rear axle but Torfab looked into it and uses airbags instead because the frame is narrower and doesn't really allow for a rear coil to fit. The other option is use leaf springs in the rear, but it would be great to get some really big flex like some of the 80's do like with the slinky suspension.

3 are sold and 8 more are spoken for.

80 axle/coils swapped over today. @matthews940 and AJ have both helped out tremendously on this little project with me being sick the last 7-8 days. These are my custom TourFlex 2" tapered wire lift coils. We designed it based off a 2" lift. So if you want a 1" lift ... Order a 1" lift coil... Want a 3" lift... order a 3" lift coil. Perfect 1" rake on this rig. Should dial in around 4 degrees of caster and ride amazing with the custom tapered TourFlex coils

We tested 3 coil sets today and we are at a perfect inch to inch ratio. Stock coils-- NO LIFT , 2" lift coils-- 2" lift, 3" lift coils-- 3" lift.

Kit is pictured and what will come with all TT front coil packages (TD solid adj. panhard additional)

Front complete bracket kit will be $935.00 PLUS SHIPPING- (taxes apply if in CA)

2- shock/coil buckets
1- PS support bar with bracket
1- Panhard bracket
2- Rear Radius arm brackets
2- "Stock" transmission adapter brackets

All brackets are frame indexed and direction oriented for ease of fitup and installation.

On another note---------- I signed and submitted all the paperwork with Cummins for the R2.8 builder program.

I have an appointment with the local REF to discuss a few things for CA engine swap vehicles and going to see how "diesel" thorough he is. Most the inspectors in our area don't even pop the hood, they just listen to the "sound" and sign off ask year, make and displacement.

I have several of you guys wanting this mod. While not a high priority for us at the moment we will start taking appointments for these swaps around summer.

Should have @Kmonty66 pulled out in a couple more days and then onto @DougRFJ62 and then to yours @Idaho Savage Doug is getting a few new goodies with his coil swap but I don't need the lift for those.

Received the Sumo Gears TC rebuild kits today so AJ and I will get to your TC in short order and attach the new GM auto. The truck driver called and is planning on dropping it off on Monday.
