I'm really liking how this is only on one side. Did you fab this or source it somewhere? I'm interested in picking one up.

I sourced it from the drawer supplier.

Here are a few pics with my 65qt Wynter.

Can't wait to see the arms all done!

I definitely need to reroute that muffler. On one particular trail around here the spare/hitch would bury itself on one steep incline with my 4Runner. And that was much taller. I think I remember one dude on here re-routing his.

T,

Should have the arms all tacked up tomorrow, less t-box.

Nice job J! I think its your best looking bumper to date relative to blend in.

D,

Thanks,

Well this is what a one off custom build does for a customer out of my shop. All the other bumpers I've made have had fast production in mind. Which leads to a more simple design. This bumper could never be a production bumper from me. Overall, too many complex angles and pieces. Some of them could be incorporated into a bend program, but the key to speed and profit is less bends with less welding, grinding and blending. I could see making 1-3 of these and walking away from the design.

This bumper reminds me of the Road Armor, T4 and Alien style bumpers I used to build for Dodge and Ford welding buddies.

But, if it was solely about the $$ you know where I'd be and what I'd be doing....

It's like buying a dress shirt. You can get an off-the-rack at Macy's that'll get the job done. Or you can get a tailor to make you one that'll get the job done but also look better, have the exact cut you want, and get you laid.

HMMM?!?!?

Oh boy - me likey!!:)

It looks good. What are you planning for the back up camera? I like being able to see my hitch when I back up to a trailer.

Depends on how badly it's obscured. I'm guessing it might still be somewhat visible. Otherwise I'll relocate it. Plus I'll still have the sensors. Either that or I'll just keep backing up until I hit something. What's the worst that could happen? I total another CRV? :)
