who drinks from cups on the trail

I only ever drink out of bottles that won't fit those things anyway :meh:

I have one of these, and I do like it, in town and on the highway. I highly recommend them. But, beware, they do become a diving :bounce:board/launch :bounce2:pad for open containers on the trail. It is a great device for :whoops:waking up your codriver!!:hillbilly:

X2, AKA the Pepsi flinger!

One of the first things that I installed on the rig. To reduce the flinging; inset the can, cup, whatever, then push the holder in 'till the lower, angle support touches the dash part. This makes it much more stable, doesn't solve the problem, but reduces it. :hillbilly:

Pepsi

the only thing it's good for is being flung ;p

You can get Schweppes on a can, too - and since you don't wheel the 80, no flinging:-p

Those Camry 16" worked great on my son's car. Let me know if you come across any good Michelin take offs to fit a 07 Highlander. My mom's was Made in Japan with Toyo's I believe. Less then 13K mile on the vehicle. Tread is still good just weather checking. From Nov. 06 until Sept. 08 it sat outside in Henderson, NV. Since then it been parked in my garage (taking up cruiser space:frown:) She keeps asking me if I found here a deal yet. Funny she doesn't even drive anymore. But it's the vehicle she likes to ride in.:bang:

Inkpot goes big!

Inkpot was in last week to put on some new shoes. 37" Nitto Trail Grapplers to be exact.

He found some 8" wide aftermarket classic style wheels to mount them on. With ALL five wheels, none took more than 2 ounces to balance which is almost unheard of .

Good tire and wheel combo evidently. And those Nittos are very heavy!

second picture shows the difference in height between the 35" on the OE 16" wheel.

John: How did the clearance end up...Just minor trimming?

Thanks, Murf. :) Good price, and good service. The Nittos are definitely very round and very quiet. Oh, and very much taller than the 315 Wranglers.:smokin: The new rims are actually 8.5" wide, and I am still running my 1" spacers, so all bets are off on fender clearances. :crybaby: I also have the adjustable panhards adjusted to center the axles with the existing lift, so that may require adjustment to allow the tires to fit when stuffed. :hhmm: I am going out to Florence Junction Thursday with BLM, so that will be my first chance to stretch it out and see what fits and what not. I'm willing to bet that adjustments will be required. Even when the setups are the same, every rig is a little different, so you can't trust things to work exactly the same as someone else's setup. I still have a number of suspension mods I would like to do, but I will have to work thru them one at a time.:wrench: John
