Sheesh. Looked all over for one of those and struck out. Not sure why. Meanwhile...I’ve been working out my Alubox setup so that tgere’s Nothing loose that can kill me...but still want a cargo net for ridiculous cargo messes like I had in Baja.

Just got it in today. Good thing since I'm leaving tomorrow at 5am for the Southwest Overland trip. No instructions but it's fairly straightforward. Hopefully I got it right? No idea how the bottoms are supposed to mount but I just wrapped it around the seat mount. Works fine. I feel like it should be higher. Maybe I mounted it wrong.

Edit: yeah I mounted it wrong. Oh well. I'll fix it after the trip

If you or anyone you know is looking for a 200. I'm entertaining offers on this one. Title in hand. I have a number in my head that I would accept that's very reasonable.

I'll give it a once over maintenance-wise and a solid detailing job before officially putting it up for sale officially.

Don't need to sell. Just exploring options and I've got a hankering for something older with less wacky technology, maybe a LHD Troopy or an 80 series. Who knows.

If I get a fair offer, I'd let it go. Otherwise, I'll keep it until I get back from the middle east next spring and decide then.

I’ve spent some time in 78s and 79s in the Middle East and agree with some others that an 80 would be worth consideration for insulation, noise, etc. How are you supposed to keep up on radio banter with headphones on?

Man, 80-series Cruisers are awesome. I should have bought one a long time ago. The seats are sooo much more comfortable than the 200.
This one will be the frame/axle/suspension donor. Got it for a great price. But I'll daily drive it in the mean time.

Guess I'll start posting in the 70 section now. Have fun in your Highlanders

What are those running for in your area? Here they are $8 to $15k depending on condition . The 100 series are about equal to that.

This one has body damage on the passenger side but the frame is good.
Bought it for $2500.

Yeah the 1FZ isn't exactly a powerhouse, pretty awful compared to the 3UR. But the motor going in the project will out do the 3UR by a fair bit.
