Sounds like you knew you were going win the auction. Thought I had it won until the last minute. Wasn't nice out bidding a senior citizen on a fixed income.

I feel your pain, but anyway I'm happy @rkymtnflyfisher has it, for some time it seemed that Ali Guy was going to win it and show it off

Pretty sure it's the same frame as the 4Runner but I've been wrong before.

this argument always made me laugh.
fjcruiser guys....it had a land cruiser frame....therefor it has land cruiser lineage .
hummer h2 guys....just because it has a suburban frame, doesn't make it a suburban.

Wait so does @rkymtnflyfisher actually have it or is it just a long drawn out joke

that mfer has some fold'n money..i heard there's a pretty shady story from back in his 1980's days about a business buy out and some stupid money to get him to just walk away.

I heard he and Hanks were fishing up on the Wood River and things got a bit competitive between them so a bet was made. Hanks kicked his backside in length and quantity so @rkymtnflyfisher ’s payment was to buy Hank’s 40 “regardless of situation.” Hanks never told him it was going to an auction so high dollars were expected.

Ok, I made that up. It’s slow here today.

I would never buy a 40 that had a Chevy engine.

It's either a hot tuned diesel that will twist the frame, or the mighty 2F, everything else is outside of my interests.
