More. Replaced everything to do with the clutch.

Still working on the engine. Oiling issue on the aft three cylinder's rocker arms. Evidence of thick oil deposits clogging the oiler bushings. Along with a good carb cleaning she might be running this week.

Mission creep has set in. Justin's crew replaced the F.D. cable which had snapped. Replaced the front wheel bearings when they noticed moving the truck around the shop that it would not roll smoothly. The original leaf springs bushings were gone for the most part. New front and rear wheel brake cylinders since several were inop. Still needs a test drive to see if it still has a slight hesitation. Maybe something in the fuel or timing?

Mission creep is unavoidable with these early trucks! Sounds like all wise decisions though!

Justin at Redline Land Cruisers finished up work on Tink yesterday. Vacuum leak and low oil pressure are no more. They had to machine down the surfaces of the intake and exhaust manifolds to eliminate a few leaks. An old, original style distributor that came with the truck is now installed.

Found this steering column hub in the classifieds from @Denscustom1 with the turn signal cancelers still intact. The hub part number cast on the back doesn't match. May just try and find a way to attach these cancellers without swapping hubs. Anyone ever done this swap?

Put the pipe down! NOBODY cares about the part number on the back of the hub!

Nice ride

That old ehsan top most likely isn’t very waterproof now is it … great looking too just not great quality canvas

The dryer it gets the more brittle it will get

The person in SC that makes the tops formally sold by Marshall is Julie … the business is now called anchor stitch

If you ask she can also give you extra material for the doors

It's been a quiet winter. Eager to get back on the road. I bought some new cables with quick connects for the Warn winch from @Fourrunner. Easy install.

With the warm weather I decided to rinse the underside in preparation for a rust converter and fluid film application. Kind of amazing how much dirt and rocks can get caught in the frame rails. Used a dental pick and the pressure washer out on the driveway. Could have really used a lift.

Took Tink out for couple of long runs today. Experiencing a brief, slight hesitation after shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and 2nd to 3rd. The carb sight glass has lots of fuel. The glass fuel filter bowl has fuel in the bottom third of the bowl. Could the fuel slosh aft in the bowl during the acceleration after shifting and cause this hesitation? Any other ideas?
