Again a busy week, and lack of needed hardware the progress has been very minor.

However, we got all the body mounts and spring hangers removed from the old frame and tacked them on the new. What is slowing us down now is our local bolt/fastener store was out of button head bolts in M10x25 size. I should have the bolts at the latest by next tuesday.

Hello.

Just came to inform you guys that don't except any project updates in a while.
I broke my ankle last monday (20.11) in an accident where i fell off ladders and i dropped on my right foot on a concrete floor what resulted in 3 fractures. Now i have 10 screws and one titanium plate holding everything back together.
That means i'm out of business for about 2 months.

Take care and be careful with ladders people.

Oh no hojo, what a nightmare.
Sorry to hear of your injury. You will have to put your feet up and think of lots of future plans and mods

good luck recovering, do you really need your ankle to weld?

Yup, lots of good time to brainstorm future plans and mods, the hard part is to stay at home without achieving anything.

Thanks. Not really but that leg would be on my way all the time. ;)

Good luck with your recovery. Really hate to hear this happened to you. And BTW...that frame rebuild is incredible work.

If the metall work in your leg is made like the frame you will be stronger than ever.
Take care and good recovery

Kiitos! I'm super bored already, can't nothing but watch to TV or PC. And eat.
Nice job writing in Finnish btw! ;)

Thank you! It was bit hard to try to understand that really happened to me while sitting in a an ambulance going to hospital. It felt so unreal.
But all in all i'm happy nothing worse didn't happen. It's just a setback to deal with. :barefoot:

Thanks, watching the X-ray pic they gave me i'm pretty certain they know their job. And i'm just trying to make things to work in a way or other.

This is the stuff that make me regret I went the academic way and didn't learn a craft. I'm so jealous of your project and your skills. Very inspiring to follow :)

Get well and keep'em coming anytime soon!
Never too old to learn new tricks :).
