Might be quicker/easier/cheaper to start that wiring from scratch.
I just can't stand those things.
I purchased a good harness for a 1970 if this one is too fubar.

Stock is always better- My link didn’t work but that’s the manual for the old 40 specific Painless.I just can't stand those things.

It worked. That would be the absolute last resort for me. They are just gross in my snobby opinionStock is always better- My link didn’t work but that’s the manual for the old 40 specific painless harness.

I agree. This 40 is very representative of a reasonable entry level truck in 2025.You guys are spoiled rotten, I would love to have that 40. To me everything can be easily fixed but sheet metal work and that doesn't look it needs any. That rig looks great.
Mine as well- would never replace a decent wiring harness for a Painless. I’m seeing 40s in a lot of conditions with a wide array of budgets. On the road is better than 100% stock in some instances. It worked. That would be the absolute last resort for me. They are just gross in my snobby opinion

It's the Commonwealth's favorite toast topper... lol.Based on a couple photos and a little back and forth I thought I could help this guy out.
He has named her Josie.
I have temporary renamed her the KY 40.
Not just because it came out of Kentucky.
Instead I think of the large amounts of lube the seller should have used on the buyer to pass this one off for what he sold it for.
