You can see his foot in the picture ... Looks kinda sooty like diesel exhaust. ;)

Lol, I didn't know what he was talking about either. Idk how that happened!

My precious!

Kriss in 45?

SBR or is that a fake can on front? Or is it a SBR WITH a real can? Or is it a rifle with a permanent can?

:)

looks good and fits in a backpack :)

I'll post up my "weaksauce" version of your gun in a bit :)

^^ so nice!

I've got a Daniel Def stock that I need to put on this thing and get the form 1 done. With the rule changes with the Sig brace, its dumb to not SBR it, I guess .. .Lone wolf 9MM w/ 7" barrel and AAC suppressor. Uses Glock clips. This is my Wife's gun :)

Nice,

My next project will be a 300 Blackout SBR upper. I am hoping that AAC does what they said they would and release the Honey Badger to the civilian market. But if not, then a 8.5 Noveske barrel with the new Gemtech 300BK suppressor.

Celebrating Mikaela's 23rd birthday a day early. Picked up the G43 at the gun show with Johnny, other pieces here and there to make sure she has what she needs to take possession of her first hand gun. Really happy we waited for the G43 to come to market, she was a bit stuck on the idea of the single-stack "pocket gun" and I require 9mm for her to carry, since she grew up shooting Glocks, the G43 fit better than anything else on the market. For the record, Regina picked the case...

Very nice. Can I get a model number for the holster in case my Natalie wants to go the same direction.

I bet that thing will love the Speer God Dot +P short barrel rounds. My 938 eats those up. I will admit it is a bit snappy with them, but if the chit hits the fan, you won't notice ;)

Definitely considering a G43 of my own at some point. Nicely done Jerry!

Replace that bottle of CLP with FrogLube and you've got a winning combo right there :D

Also, since when are earplugs gender specific?

Galco TUC460, it's "tuckable" such that one can tuck a shirt if one desired. It will need a good belt for drawing quickly but can also be used as a pocket holster, mostly wanted to make sure she kept it stored properly. We have some training time scheduled to practice some drawing techniques and to break it in. She has shot my G19 mostly and the G43 feels very familiar in her hands...

Ahhh, the old skool in me goes to what I know, will have to look into FrogLube. Yeah, thought the plugs were funny, main reason I bought them. Well, Regina's female input may have carried the most weight in the decision...

Be happy the pistol is not pink or purple cammo and the ammo is not Zombie rounds.

I had to work hard to move her away from those pocket .380's that come in a variety of colors, thankfully, she isn't into pink that much.

I'm so thankful that she has embraced learning to shoot, respects the power, accepts the discipline as well as the responsibility one must accept upon taking ownership in a firearm. She shoots very well, has demonstrated her responsibility and I'm losing confidence in humanity more and more everyday. She is hoping to get her CCW course done over Fall Break or during Christmas with lots of practice time scheduled with me before hand...

ok guys, I can use some guidance. my friend is set on an AR, semi-settled on a ruger in 556, anyone have bad experience with one ? or recommend one in the 6-700$ range?

Most ARs are going to be pretty good quality at this point. The Ruger looks like a decent rifle, at the $6-700 price point, your friend should be able to find one that suits his needs/wants. All depends on what he wants on the rifle. it's the accessories that take a $700 rifle and turns is into a $1500 rifle:grinpimp:

Speaking of new ARs, I just started the Form 3 paperwork for an AR with a "fun switch"

Those are fun, but can certainly burn through some ammo.

Another with a fun switch .... A friend has a 1929 Thompson that is an absolute blast to shoot

Ruger makes a nice piston driven AR, but it is closer to 1500, but it is a nice gun with a great balance and fit/finish.

The AR Rugers are being made north of us in NC, btw.

It was fun cleaning my 300BLK for a while - brought back old memories, but now I am just tired of it LOL. I look at the piston operation of my shotgun and think "damn I wish I had a piston instead if this gas'y beast." :)

Unfortunately, if you want to shoot sub and supersonic, you have to go DI.
