you still have that other m&p?

Thoughts?

Bottom line, the new model 70s are really nice, made using modern technology. The pre-64 model 70s are more for nostalgia, a collector piece.

If you want a really nice rifle that is kind of a piece of history, the pre-64 Model 70 is a great choice. And you will pay for a rifle in superb shape. If not, the current Model 70s are the way to go.

My $0.02:meh:

ah gotcha. my dad is in the market and liked the m&p last weekend at the range

Has a full ammo case of rifle and shotgun as of 11am. And they actually have 12 gauge. Lots of 17HMR, 308, 30-06, 243, 270. Some tactical, some hunting, some generic. Damn, I should have taken a picture. The only pistol was a lone box of 380 hollow points.

CHARLOTTE, if you didn't know.

Damn iPad left off some text. It's the new Walmart on 74 between Sharon Amity and Wendover.

Have you ever had to remove one of these? curious if it leaves any adhesive. I'm sure it would have to but am curious just how much.

Zero residue. I've taken off to install a fresh one and nothing left behind.

Its one of those textile things for me, almost like "moleskin", the one on my 19 is probably 15yrs old. I get tempted to buy a flat sheet to make one for my AR.

I went through the skateboard tape, wasted a good receiver doing the "stippling" with a soldering iron, rubber grips and settled on this without any regrets. I'm just glad they are still in business, its been a while since I've had to order one.

I either need to buy more guns or they make a solid product, maybe a bit of both...

Sounds good. I appreciate the feedback. That rubber one is just to darn fat. I think I'll order a brooks tonight

Ammunition question.

I have some Federal Hyrashock Law Enforcement holowpoints (i know not the best, but litterally the only hollow points i can find here right now) My question is, the 10th/last round of this ammo in my mag will not go into the chamber. i have probably shot 5 or 6 other types of ammo so far, and have not had a single failure. This happens EVERY time with the Hydrashok. Any thoughts.

I have just started changing this round for one of my cheap ball rounds i use for most range use when in the bed side table.

interesting. it does it in both of the ones i have right now, and only with this ammo. Who knows...

trust me i would love to. Atom has a 30 rounder for me to play with when i am in NC. i love evil. Do you have any idea how much time you spend reloading at the range with 2 10 round mags?????????

see....low cap mags in a Glock is just not natural. We should ban them.
