I do. They need to be adjusted obviously. They are kind of cross eye. I will fix that when they light up. Also, the bezel itself is just a bit mis-shapen. I might need to take it off and tweek it just a bit. It was really bent up when I got it.

I also have a black one. Anyone vote for black over white?

Bezel?! White. Surely you are not considering a black Bezel on such a beautiful rig :-)

Nice zip ties. Brings a John Deere vibe.

What are the pink ones for?

I ran out of yellow ones

I totally love the gauges - can't wait to see 'em lit up!

I may have missed this, but are they backlit, or surround-lit?

I see you opted for the Toyota text on the faces , was wondering if they would do that or not , thanks for that answer . They do look good , how did you deal with the sender for the speedo and fuel guage ??
Sarge

Both senders in the fuel tanks are stock. The guage is adjustable. The speedo is electric. I used a VSS from Marlin.

As usual, life has been in the way but tonight after the afc and nfc games I put the aftermarket windshield sprayers on the hood. Required a nylon washer to shim them since the hole in the hood is huge.

And yeah, that is the carpet.

Also got the bumper hardware sorted. Seems I had to fill a few holes in the SOR frame horn mounts and redrill them to make them fit the custom bumper. All the welding and redrilling required some rattle can.

Also, for some reason, a bit of the powder coating I had done early on was peeling so I had to throw some paint on the hooks.

Great drunken cell phone pic. I also do weddings.

I am often asked where I am on all this... often :o ...

Well this is what is left:

I need to put in the battery and starter cables as well as ensure all the engine electrical is hooked up and routed. That will bring the big day of energizing the thing to see how much electrical I may have Efed up. Fingers crossed there.

I have some brake lines to ensure are properly routed and anchored.

I have to put the carb on.

Then the driver's fender and apron will go on with the bib, front bumper, winch and hood. That will be way cool.

I have to ensure all the fuel lines are properly run and anchored to something - like to the frame. This is a PITA as I started using AN fittings and neat s*** like that. That has resulted in many joints and expensive adapters. If I was to do it again I would use short pieces of hose and steel tubing for everything.

I have to get the confer tank filler sorted out.

I need to fab front seat mounts and get the rear seats covered. I am looking forward to doing this stuff as cutting and welding big metal s*** is much more fun than the soldering and tracing wires.

I need to do something for an airfilter. I was going to use a late model FJ40 / FJ60 air filter but would prefer one of the old small Downey style oval filters so I can leave my hood prop intact.

I have to get an exhaust system made. (I will do this last and drive this fxxxer to the place to get them to put it in.)

The last thing is to get a 4+ rear bumper. Then I will be putting the poor bastard in storage for 3 to 6 years while I live in the Philippines. Can you imagine?!?!

Putting it in a list like this makes it seem like it will only take days....wish it would. apeterson is coming down to help a little in February and to celebrate :princess: 's b-day. Hope we make some progress then.

I am going to make you fix my fuel line mess :flipoff2:

Dude ill run all the black fuel lines u want.. why bother with those hard lines. :)

Been a total pita to mess with all that -an s***. If I ever do it again I won't. I am too far invested to change direction. I just thought it would be cool and sturdy.

I will never run -an s*** in a Cruiser with a 2F again and I recommend against it.
